This video is a perfect example of how competitive/crowded markets in big urban areas are. with two or more stations sharing the same frequency, i.e. 101.5 and 105.5, stations must have to transmit at pretty low power. I moved away from the GTA a few years ago so it’s interesting to see what stations have changed and what stayed the same.
Unless u live in some parts of the Toronto or Oshawa or Niagara. For example Toronto doesn’t have its own Country Radio format in its core Toronto market.
Wow! The ID jingles from the CHIN stations blew me away, especially those on 91.9 and 100.7 FM. And, I’m also speechless at how stations from BC and Montreal can have relays here in Toronto.
About the Vancouver relay, CHKX/CJKX-HD2 used to be it's own feed also known as The Wave with the same smooth jazz format. When CIWV launched they decided to simulcast the Vancouver feed (which features many of the same personalities from Ontario) and dropped the Ontario feed.
I don't think I'm going to do everything again, probably just whatever has changed since 2020 (i.e. Wave, Now!, etc.) and some stations in the extended market I didn't get last time (like Star and KUGS)
Notice the REAL Canadian stations pronounce it "Tah-ron-oh", not "Tah-ron-toh". Torontonians don't pronounce the second "T" in Toronto. @15:45: Hey! Turn that back! That was Metallica! \m/ @25:05: Hey! Turn that back! That was Alice in Chains! \m/
Depends on your location in the GTA. I've received plenty of Kitchener and Buffalo stations in Oakville before, and have managed to get a few from both cities in Downtown.
I wish they could invite me one day to Toronto Canada to come and say How The Analogy Of Potiphar Wife applies in Modern Societies-Genesis 37:1-50:26?They have to carry me there and back from Windsor Ontario. I would come with what i have Printed from the library to answer this question adding my own there.
Nice job with this. I felt like I was actually in Toronto listening to these.

@@DisneyStudioNetwork But they have a KX96 repeater on the same frequency, 95.9.
This was cool to watch!

@Emarsee are you planning to make one for Vancouver because the 2020 version is outdated!

Now the 102.5 is K-love
Are you gonna do more of these soon?
Probably not for the foreseeable future.

How long did it take you to capture all of these?
way longer than I'd like lol
Are you going to eventually do a updated one in the future?
Why are Buffalo and Kitchener stations on here? Those stations don’t target any of the GTA and often can’t even be heard there
