I have a theory that PC Chris's broken thumb might have ended up giving him a very slight edge. In this episode, he shows that his thumb shorter on his right hand as a result of the accident, which my head canon tells me made reaching for the c-stick a few frames faster.
Man these stories are so interesting to watch! I never knew this stuff growing up. It’s great knowing the lore of what happened to smash, it’s players, it’s tourneys, etc... Always looking forward to these!
