Please continue this series! I've watched the melee documentary probably about 3 or 4 times in the past 3 years, but I love your thoughts on it and the extra bits of information you provide that aren't featured in the doc. It's like an extra layer of information we don't really know unless we were part of the scene back then like you were.
Dude, Zero, I love all of this content. I never knew your backstory before you covered it in the documentary before (I didn’t even know resources like that existed) and it gave me newfound respect for you (as if I didn’t already find you a hilarious hard-worker already). That being said, I’d love to see you cover the rest of this series as you’re available. Your comments shine an interesting light on the history of competitive Smash Bros.
Please keep going. This series has been so good! Seeing your personal insight with your own cliffnotes and experiences makes this so much better. Like a special commentary track.

I never played melee and so I never understood the hype behind it, so after I watched your first video on this doc, I decided to watch it in full and finished a couple of days ago and let me tell you... I had absolutely no idea it had such rich history and culture. Watching that documentary reignited my desire to get better and it gave me a newfound appreciation for a game that I have never played. On top of that, the extra info and context you provide from your point of view just adds more to that so I'm gonna start going to locals more and training so I can stop being a scrub. I kinda wish you would have some guest appearances on these videos so that we could have more perspectives, but this is already great.

Keep it up homie. I’d love to see your input on the whole series. It’s a good way to rewatch the documentary without having to watch 8 hours of content.
It’d be entertaining watching you react to that time you called out all falcon players in smash 4 and got bodied by fatalityfalcon and what you were thinking at that time
I think you reacting to different smash moments is the best thing that happend. I aleays like watching them in general but now i know that back story cus of you and it makes the videos that much better

Really liking re-watching with you Zero! One little thing, I think the background music is a bit distracting while the doc is playing. Maybe only play it when you take a second to discuss what just happened on screen?
This episode was so you. I especially love the ChuDat segment cuz he was considered a top 3 player/2nd best player for a long time and the only reason he didn’t get his own episode was because he at some point left MDVA to go to Cali and team up with the west coast dudes. This was seen as a betrayal at the time and for awhile he felt guilty cuz he wanted to be with the west coast players but he just felt that he couldn’t do it forever which made him return to MDVA towards the end of his *Early Career.* Also there’s two moments from the doc that weren’t included in the final playlist and that’s the Original Darkrain Combo during Melee FC3 or something, and Chillin/Azen vs Isai/Ken. Reason? There was a mini episode that discussed a tournament where Azen had come out of retirement, and decided to play with chillin against those two and it was the only tournament they ever won against the two of them. Aside from that I notice certain parts of these segments but I can understand why you didn’t showcase all the episodes. Also like I mentioned before there were 4 people including yourself who have done commentary on the documentary, and they are yourself, chillin, ChuDat, and Hugs86. ChuDatz (unless he finally released it), forgot to cover the last episode of the doc but chillin covered it as early as Curse days before he got signed by Team Liquid.
P.S. I didn’t know if you caught the segment or if anyone else did as well, but when ken lost to Sasstifer there was a moment where UNKNOWN said “yeah I remember Azen was surprised and he was like: SASSTIFER?!!! I Raped him with my Pichu!” I remember balling out laughing so hard cuz it was like, “what?! Did Azen just?! LMAO XD!” Also fun fact, back when smashbords was first starting and gamefaqs was a huge thing I used to be able to watch videos and see some of the early written commentary about the tournaments and so for the longest time I sat back and watched the action, imagining in my head and for awhile it was a Dr Claw moment cuz I didn’t really see their faces, until the KoreanDJ age of Smash and I was just like “WHOA!” I remember seeing a lot of people for the first time and it was amazing so I watched from the VERY sidelines and just felt so intimidated to join except when I’d play as Link as a kid cuz I did grow up with SSB64 Link.
Zero, I love your content and I support the fact that you’re trying to mix it up a bit. But I miss watching some gameplay my man.
