Parji you are right. Our family originally from Doaba. My dad came time UK in the 1960s and his 2 other brother’s emigrated to the US in the 1990s …. We Hardly have any family left now in Panjab. Question I have for you is why would their families or offspring who were bought up away from Panjab have any interest in returning back to India. Most NRI off spring in 10/20 years will possibly never return back to Punjab once their parents have passed. I can tell you this. It’s a sad fact but very much the state of our mindset. Let’s face it most of the villages especially around Doaba are empty with most of the youth looking to move abroad.
