Just like Dhoni in 2011 World Cup, Pant is being given too much credit for India's win at Gabba on last tour. Yes, he took us to victory with his 89 not out in the second innings. But there were bigger contributions from other players too. Shardul Thakur deserved the Man of the Match for his all-round performance in the first innings (67 runs with bat & 3/97 with ball) and 4 wickets in the second innings. The contributions from Washington Sundar with bat (62 runs) and with ball (3/89) were equally good in that game. Siraj's 5 wicket haul in the second innings & Gill's 91 runs in the chase should not be forgotten.
Pant actually played another match winning knock in one of the previous matches. He was the hero of the series with the bat but the credit gets misguided to just Gabba. The Gabba match was a team effort, as it has to be.

We'll see that after series bro
To much optimistic u r...bcuz we have seen your top players how they played vs pak in ODI series.
I think you forgot you lost all 4 previous BGT and last one you lost with Indian B team 😂
Clown 🤡, Last 2 BGT Series in Australia we have thrashed you mercilessly at your own backyard, you guys had been saying the same.
We will see ..time will tell
India will never defeated to Australia because they actually loose their captain and a genius batter shubman gill and the team is under the pressure because they nearly lost from New Zealand in home...
I miss the good old days of the Aussie lineup in the commentary…Bill Lawry, Richie Benaud, Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Tony Grieg
Vaughan in Australia was incredible..became aggressive.. argualby would have been the best batsman in the world if not given captaincy
After NZ debacle, commentators are playing safe. Aussies are having an edge .
Harsha bhogle getting him back😂 love to see harsha every time
I hope mark Nicholas, Saurabh ganguli, Michal slater commentry together in BGT summer
Hindi Broadcast by FOX wow!
Never ever underestimate Indians ❤
Are you ready for Australia vs India in the 2024/25 NRMA Insurance Test Series.
Nrma insurance boder gavaskar trophy 🏆🏆 can't wait 😮
@ it’s going to be a awesome series.
@@LachiePattersonCricket bring it on but deep down I know it's Australia 5-0 win
@@abhinavgupta6731 will find out LIVE around Australia on Fox Cricket and Channel Seven.
@@abhinavgupta6731 3-1 maybe but this time aussies gonna dominate
Did just michael vaughan said it's good warm-up for ashes 3:48 ....ohh sry that's why ur england team never rank no 1 in test in last 6-7 years and never rich WTC final.....poor england cricket team....ashes is not life brother, it's all around cricket that you must respect.
My eyes on Sarfaraz Khan, Gill and Jaiswal.
Its a sad thing Gill is injured.
Sarfaraz hugg dega
@@imrahulp Tune already hung diya
Good banter betn Harsha and anchor
Oh common bring it on , cant wait more now , BGT in Australia is special for me as a Cricket Fan .Their will be no boring Sessions , their will be twist and turns , their will be Aggression all around
Ravi is a gem.
Ravi shastri ❤
Harsha is about to self destruct 😅
5:56 Harshaa 👍🏻🤣🤣🤣
Don’t understand the statement of “be quiet” and they may not respect you? David, Sachin and Laxman were quiet all the time, does it mean they did not garner any respect?
He is basically a quieter version of sanjay manjarekar.
They were loud with their performances instead
@ haha!
He is taking about culture and how one is perceived day to day

Fox Sports allowing Hindi commentary is great news. Earlier only Indian Broadcasters used to do it
i can see the point about number 4's but i think the bigger issue is the openers... Australia need to be matching the output of India for the first couple of wickets
Where's Lord Shardul Thakur?? Why's he missed?
More than Indians, it is Aussies who want to win this series badly. They were humiliated last time.
The quality of test cricket has deteriorated so much after the introduction of T20. I believe these Indian and Australian teams are nothing against their 2004 tour's respective teams. That was the peak I guess.
lol Vaughn'ee: "Its a good warm up for the Ashes in 12 Months" 😎
Shastri is a better man manager than a coach much less a batsman. But he never backs off from a confrontation
First test is critical because no matter how bad india were against New Zealand if you give them an early lead in this series they might be trouble but i expect us to win the first test and win the series 3-1 with Sydney being a wash out like it usually
They seem to conveniently forget Rahane and Pujara.. just coz they are silent probably.. two major reasons we won
Australia is no longer the team it used to be, the level of cricket has gone down for sure everywhere due to T20 I think. But Aus should win this 4-1 at least
We believe in Indian team ❤
