I recently bought my first snowmobile and I appreciate these videos. They don't assume you already know everything and obviously this guy isn't a perfectionist. Thanks!
@@PowerModzOfficial Thanks man. Quick Question? I bought a 1984 Yamaha Enticer LT w/reverse (if that matters) either I'm not riding it right, or something is wrong...it steers terribly! as in, won't steer at all really. I turn the skis...it keeps going forward. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Love your videos, I started watching them when I considered getting a sled for our cabin. After looking at your videos I said screw it and snow checked a new Indy. You shared good advice.
...Salut...Hi...yesterday i sold my 1979 alpine 640 and i,m looking for Cheyenne 503 rev !!!!! how does it compaire with tundra in deep snow????? merci...thanks.
what do you premix these at Louis? I have a 73 Yamaha SL292 that I put a round slide carb on, which means no more oil injection. Not sure weather to do 40 or 50:1
i have a 2001 skidoo mxz 700 and i have a 137 skid i want to put on it i am having trouble finding cogs that will work on the skidoo and 137 track any help will be apprehended
Make the most of the snow unlike here(Worst winter here on the south coast of Newfoundland in 40 years, zero miles on my sled so far and the future forecast looks bleak😒)
@@PowerModzOfficial no way u actually responded I have been watching you for a while and I am a big fan. But I just made this acc so off course I had to subscribe
Such humble beginnings, snowmobiles were built for utilities, out of pure necessity.. Look how far they have come! Love the old sled content!
Thanks for watching!

@@backwatersandbackroads Check the wear bar underneath of the skis. If it's worn out put a set of carbide runners on it. That'll get you turning.

The one thing I learned about trail breaking on a heavier sled (Phazer 500 Mountain Lite 4 stroke) is don't stop in deep snow.
NEVER stop!
Hey question is the 600 liberty motor a good motor or no ?

Clean your carburetor well and when not in use, use stabil the gas! And what he said lol
I have a 2004 500ss legend gt that is brutal on gas mileage. Is there anyway I can make it better. Can I change the jets without leaning it out
hmm, check your slides and idlers and track tension - other than that adjust your thumb and bring a gas can!
How long is the track in the Elan?
139.5
LOUIE, are you trying to kill the bugs again ?SWEEP LOUIE,SWEEP, snowdog.

Put a couple shocks on the back seat.

Off trail riding is beaver country. Lucky guys !
Love the beaver!
Did you ever fix the elan that the engine went "reaktor meltdown" on the lake last year ? 😂😁
the crank bearings were completely done, I have a 253 out of a tundra I might put in it.
@@PowerModzOfficial okey thanks 4 answer 👍👍
You need the yellow bomber out there. And get some beaver trapping going
