  • Another day of breaking the local Snowmobile trails. The ground is still not frozen and we´ve had more snow during the past week. This time, the chainsaw is needed and the snow makes the Tundra struggle. The weather was lovely and it was a really nice day.

      @@65northphoto Beautiful looking area !
I’m in Northern Ont Canada, near Northbay, and we usually get snow conditions like that also, but so far this winter it has been mild. Many bigger lakes only have a few inches of ice now. I love breaking trails in the
backcountry like you guys are doing ! Similar forests here as you guys.
Keep posting more, this is what these sleds are made for. Enjoy ! 🙏🌲❄️🇨🇦

It’s a great light utility sled, capable of family touring. It’s not good for extensive trail riding due the design of front suspension. It exellent for off trail riding where it’s possible to slowly drive on top of the snow. It isn’t good for climbing due to lack of hp and short lugs of the track. I really like it, it’s very light and fun to drive. It’s very narrow and can be a bit tricky, it dips from side to side very easy. There is widening kits avaliable. Wider skis might also help the stability. It’s no sled for long trips, and it isn’t a Summit either.

Look closely at the 550F, I have a 12, and snow gets on intake and then stalls it. It’s not designed to break trail. It will but the air intake on left constantly plugs. It’s more like a ski don’t. I put wider skis and it helped, but can’t do the stuff the commercials show, good for about 1/4 mile then it’s stopping and cleaning vent. Now the four stroke, no idea. I do know they sure are quite. Guy in. Back hasn’t drove one before, he’s all over the trail, because they are tippy.....good for tight spaces which is a bonus, one day and you’re used to it.
