  • This setting of William Blake's poem begins with new music by local composer David Miller and concludes with an arrangement of Hubert Parry's melody "Jerusalem." It was performed at Trinity Episcopal Church in Portland, Oregon on March 11th, 2012 and conducted by PYC Artistic Director, Mia Hall Savage. The performance included Pacific University's Chamber Singers as well as Pacific Youth Choir's Pacific and Cascadia Choirs encompassing students from 6th through 12th grade.     I thought we did that with Matt Altman, and Mia, but I remember Matt conducting. Ah anyways, he wrote another piece this year, and Matt is conducting us this time.

    Jerusalem by Blake was MUCH too fast. I miss seeing & hearing Michael Kleinschmidt at Trinity Church, Boston.

    Janet Coleman happens to the sister of the wife of a cousin of my piano teacher.
