Well it's basically an AoE Miracle Punch, which has ~50% crit chance, however consider lot of enemies at that point of the game have resist phys which also reduces chance to be crit)

I know I'm gonna be r/wooshed but everyone can see persona's, a good example is at the start of the game when shadow kamoshida locks you up in a cell and you awaken to your persona, ryuji can clearly see it. Another example is, fittingly, at the end of vanilla p5 where one person says "what is that(referring to satanael), is that his(joker's)power?" anyways please stop making Jojokes, they are not funny and are overused

@@Raydnt69 I was planning to actually get that on Makoto in NG+ for comparable reason, but Ann also needing to use the aoe concentrate made it more important in NG. (Makoto's 3rd awake skill is nowhere as necessary as you don't really need it anyway)

Haru's Ultimate Skill might seem expensive to cast, but it's cheaper than Naoto's in Persona 4 Golden, and is a Repel for the party, rather than Naoto's Void for the party.
However Naoto's blocks Almighty (and Haru's doesn't), which can straight up negate Margaret's 9999 Megidolaon, and I think it's the only option available for the playable party to in any way resist Almighty in the entire series
Haru's probably still better though

The twins/Lavenza also have an auto win mechanic but instead of a 9999 megido like Margaret and Elizabeth they just all out attack you

@@notreallygudetama Generally, Almighty damage is unblockable by default, and won't get blocked or reflected unless the skill specifically says it _does,_ rather than saying it doesn't. Haru's life-wall is a party wide one time Makarakarn+Tetrakarn, neither of which cover Almighty.
Few of these new skills had been useful during the last boss battle. But anyway, Azathoth was gangsta only until charged Yoshitsune casted Hassou Tobi.
Yeah but even with almighty Alice + Ann focusing the party it was pretty easy to just obliterate him, also I'm pretty sure spamming a severe elemental skill and chaining baton pass could work

@@0395gabe I did that, I even Concentrated Sumire because I didn't know which tentacle reflects Physical. After I found out which ones block and repel it, I focused on the tentacles, Maruki and his persona with Masquerade when possible.
The Yoshitsune boss you mentioned... he couldn't hit my party. I had auto-masuku accessory equipped on Joker. Joker, Akechi and Makoto got hit only twice. The boss' Maziodyne couldn't do anything but miss us.
Shame I bought Sumire in there as the boss blocks Phys and repels Bless, but she was stable enough to use the Matarukaja accessory and heal us one by one who got hit. And when I got tired of him managing to hit me twice, I switched to Fafnir to repel it back as Sumire kept dodging- *NO* she danced her a$$ off dodging his attacks and never got hit.
I swear her Agility + Sukukaja + Sukunda (on enemy) + Ali Dance is way too overpowered.

@@funpox5062 i felt the same way during my NG and NG+ playthroughs as well. At least you're given 2 months of spare time to mess around w/ the jazz club stat sticking your party members though. That's how i used my time preparing for the Lavenza fight. Kinda sucks that i have to wait till the end of the month just so i can use spellmaster on a single party member

I'm still playing and I'm now on shido's palace, I have been grinding to get 99 with everyone and now I realize that I will need to do it again with Akechi and Kasumi
If you had Akechi above lv 75 when he was in your party the first time around he retains the level

i spent a few days creating max stat personas for the best efficiency in merciless mode and happened to get everyone to 99 in Okumuras palace... i need help

I know it seems really minor, but Akechi's evade bless was absolutely broken in my play through. Out of the 20 or so bless attacks that [BIG BAD BOSS] threw out, only 3 hit. *3!*

That’s how the baton pass works. It gives the person you passed the turn to extra damage, along with other benefits. Nothing seems out of the ordinary with how you explained it, it’s just baton pass doing its thing.
Hey Look SomeGuyInATopHat no it’s just that the abilities that actually get a power boost from a baton pass do a LOT more damage then other moves used during a baton pass. For example my Izanagi and yosuke did over 6,000 damage while doing a move that gets a power up with baton pass

You should be able to unlock akechi and kasumi 3rd awakening at the start of the 3rd semester, you unlock akechi 3rd awakening at the very start of the 3rd semester after you refuse maruki's deal when you infiltrate for the first time, and kasumi 3rd awakening after you max her out and talk to her again like all other 3rd awakenings
Yusuke gets luster candy, which just reminds that luster candy doesn't exist in persona outside of unique skills in both 3, 4, and 5.

Genuinely don't see the point of rebellion blade, almost 100 sp just to be able to do a ton of damage to an almost dead tentacle. Levitation is just better for Akechi.
It's because his Persona's trait has a chance at reducing cost of Almighty and support skills, and Rebellion Blade is an Almighty skill. 99 SP is still asking for a lot though I agree, but they probably wouldn't have given him the skill if it didn't benefit from his trait

CraigWCK For one, it can’t be blocked. Since it’s Almighty it completely bypasses Physical and Magical resistances including barriers like Makarakarn.
Ingenious Spirit also lowers the cost greatly, making it about 50-60 SP only. And it has additional damage to enemies that are already on the ground after a critical, dealing a ton of damage if powered up by High Spirit or a Will Seed.
Laevateinn dealt a lot of damage but it was a physical move that could be reflected by Tetrakarn or nulled by resistances. Rebellion Blade is just overall better to use, and by the time you reach this battle you should have enough Somas and SP regen items that SP is no longer a problem.
It’s also the ONLY Almighty move that deals Colossal Damage. It might not be much but it gives him a unique role perfect for the final fight against the Royal Boss. Since the tentacles have varied weaknesses, you can use Rebellion Blade to just off the ones that resist your current party members without wasting any of Joker’s turns.
If you have the F Orpheus DLC, Hyakka Ryouran becomes pointless, as Neo Cadenza does the same, heals the party by 50%, costs less than a single heat riser and is available at lvl 8

attis with thermopyle is the free version

What is even the point of Akechi's persona upgrade? It's only available in time for the final boss, it gives a resistance up that the final boss doesn't even use, and it's skill's bonus trait (extra damage to downed enemies) is useless on the final boss. It might as well just have been a really heavy attack and stop there.

Persona Royal might be the most addictive game I’ve ever played. I’m just glad that I have the will power to not play in order to experience other games. Soul hackers 2 is cool for now (just arrived at Hope tower) but damn the feeling of camaraderie is dearly missed.

Rank 10 is only for other party members to switch themselves, joker can switch anyone at a lower rank something like 2 (sorry i cant remember exactly)
But hifumi is definitely a confidant you should prioritize since she gives so many benefits

Appearance? Yea. Ability? That's... arguable.
Skills like Life Wall and High Energy are incredibly powerful, while Phantom Show is powerful, but a bit underwhelming.
Personally, I would've changed Phantom Show to be an attack that specifically targets all the weaknesses of the enemies and downs them.
@@Welcometotheslam5424 Yeah I like Phantom Show (especially the maniacal laugh joker does sometimes when he uses the move) but it's not the best 3rd awakening move despite Joker being the leader, but that still won't take away the fact that Raoul's design is cool as hell

Full team charge, concentrate, and heat riser is sort of broken, which is why neo cadenza on femc orpheous is ridiculous. Full enemy team debilitate is pretty good, but kind of uneeded. The damage ones are cool but are way out classed by the other 3rd tier persona powers. Then Joker’s Raoul, which has Phantom Show is pretty bonkers, a full enemy team high chance to sleep is really fucking good. And life wall is cool too i guess.

Haru is so stupidly good in P5R that there's no reason to not go full waifu team unless you really like Ryuji or Yusuke :P

Completely wasted since you only get them for ONE fight and by that point joker is so fucking overpowered that it doesn't matter. Ryuji's insta kill breaks the game so you have Ng+ levels of power and wealth in your first playthrough. Even on merciless the whole game is a cakewalk. Why even bother with these "op" skills? Pointless
