Great job narrating, even tho brakes are an easy job I like that you had extra steps with all the clips. Sometimes I'll watch an expert such as yourself replace/repair something and everything is perfect. Thanks
I have a new girlfriend that has his vehicle and I changed her shed a flat on a front and she's got one eight inch left on her pad thank you for the warning on those clips God bless
Good info! I need to do this job on my wife's CRV in a couple weeks. Any issues with the auto-braking sensors or any computer resets that are necessary with the caliper compression?
The dealership service center just quoted me $462 for front brakes and over $500 for the rear brakes separately! I said "no thank you, I'm not paying over 1K to have my brakes and rotors changed. I can learn how to do that myself"
Hi Lou, White lithium grease is not recommended because it is a low temp grease. Any silicone paste or brake caliper grease should be fine. Thanks for watching! -Dan the Fix it Man
One of the better brake videos I have watched.

Great video, and even better pacing. Thanks, man. This helped me out on a part of the process I didn’t know.
Thank you so much, I’m glad to hear my video helped you out.

Excellent!
Good video. Sir. Thank you very much. Wade Out..
Seems like a quality pads would come with new hardware...
Doesn’t talk about the sensor light that now shows up ( light break) have to reset it
Can you elaborate? This was my concern with these newer vehicles.
What would happen if the clips came off?
Nothing will happen...it will just squeal when you hit the base of the brake pads and it will squeel like a pig
Thank you for the vedio.
Awesome
Man, I'd be pissed about those clips... thank you for the warning. Hopefully NAPA has changed their manufacturing, lol, I'm sure.
