The problem with all these devices that are dependent on apps is one day those apps will be shut down and that hardware will be a doorstop.

The 18-55 fuji has a huge reputation IF you get a good copy!However, there are lots of copies that people have sent back.
A lot of photography RUclipsrs switched over to DJI mics (and Osmo 3) as soon as they were released. There were a lot of reviews from creators at the same time. My feeling is they were all given them because Røde has been the standard.
Probably. The other Rode mics I have are all great. It's just the wireless go's that don't work well.
They're saying the Fuji X100VI is coming out on Feb 20. I'm going to preorder immediately more than likely.
Should be an interesting camera. I hope they can satisfy demand which will be through the roof. I suspect there might be some people ordering them to resell at higher prices if the supply isn't adequate. The camera I am most interested in and would pre-order if they get it right this time is the XPro4.
@@EdwardMartinsPhotography Yeah the X100V has been impossible to find for 3 years now. Insane.
I've had pretty good luck with the GoPro 10 and now have been using a 12 for about 3 months. I haven't had a single issue with the 12 and use it a lot as a dash cam and for doing time lapses and short videos. The 12 seems to be a huge improvement over the 10. The 12's mic with the media mod sound much better than the 10 and even way better than the Rode wireless go II. They surely improved the audio on the 12 w/media mod. I'm using the 12 more and more for vlogging as it just seems to be working great for that. I really don't have to do much editing nor tweek the audio anymore. Plus, its small and easy the lug along in the camera bag.
I'll never buy the Rode wireless mics again either, they really are a pain in the arse. I don't know how many times I left the house thinking they were charged and then find out they were about dead! My original wireless go first edition still actually holds a charge and works better than the go II, but, I lost the wind muffs for it and it worthless outside in a slight wind.!

Does the 12 still have the skin smoothing you can't turn off? That's another thing I forgot to mention I hate about the gopros.
@@EdwardMartinsPhotography I didn't see any skin smoothing setting in the menus. I just leave sharpening on low and everything looks pretty much normal.
Hi Ed, totally agree with GoPro I won't buy again as well. Actually I am looking forward to buy a new action cam and I saw the Action 4 from Dji. Have you seen the Insta 360 Ace and Ace pro? What do you think about it?
I have not looked into the Insta ace's at all, but I will.

@@simonwilliams2109 Cool! I play rhythm. I switch back and forth between an American Pro II Tele and the Acoustasonic. It is an interesting instrument, I'm still not sure if I like it or not.
@@simonwilliams2109 I really liked the K3 II. I wish I had kept it. The K3 3 is just a little too much Ricoh. They are losing the great Pentax interface. I like the K1 better. The K3M was great but too specialist. I don't really need the high ISO's for what I do and that's the real claim to fame of that camera.
