Your video helped me a lot! but I have problem, LCD does not go off whatever I do in settings. Not by timer, not by button press. Even If I set it off in settings. Please could you advise where to look?
Hi, i'm contacting you to find out. if i may have fried my th9x stock board. I opened it to desolder the original beeper, as it kept constantly beeping, put it back together, and noticed ground wire was after coming out of it's crimped housing, i can't remember if i powered up the tx like that, or not, can you tell me, would this brick the Tx if i did? Also, if i powered up the TH9X without the module in the back, would this fry/brick, the TH9X? Any help you can give would be gratefully appreciated.
Just did mine. Be careful when you place the circuit board back on. Be sure the buttons work and the screen is aligned. I had to take mine apart after I realized the buttons weren't right. Much improvement and I still don't understand why my Fly Sky FS-I6 came with a backlit screen but not the FS-TH9X??? What were they thinking?? Cost cutting? Give me a break.. Oh, one other thing. I paid $6.48 with free shipping. Had to wait a bit as it was from China via eBay.
+MrPolymers I think the I6 came out after the TH9X. Im guessing that had something to do with it but yeah, I still dont understand why they didnt put one on the 9X anyway.
Just did this, great tutorial. I had a glue gun lying around, used that instead of the double side tape. Thanks
Glad it helped :)

I actually like my I6 better. I just needed the extra channels of the TH9 which is a beast of a radio compared to the I6. Good luck.
