This year cossmen had 2 badasses: the colorguard member who sustained a head wound and still preformed, and the quad with a broken arm.
Hudson Mcclellan we had a guy twist his ankle right before we went to state this year for the first time in our schools history and he still marched(he was a snare)
Don't forget the Contra player as well
In dallas a gcolor guard had tossed her rifle up and couldnt see it due to the sun and busted her nose.
And the third trumpet that sticks out 😂😂
One of my fellow mellophones marched BOA Finals back in 2015 with a dislocated knee cap and we ended up winning that year. He was so chill about it too he was just like "eh it happens".
Such an underrated corps.
amen
Ikr
the bottom 6 corps are usually really underrated tbh
Excited to be marching the 2018 season! #Bones ☠️💢
Stefan R I marched this show. Welcome to the Family.
Just aged out after 5 years with Crossmen, good luck and have fun this next season!!
Hey, youve gotta give credit to that tenor who still marched with a injury!
TheTXSavage494 brave, but should definitely not be condoned!! What if he made it worse and ended up not being able to play drums anymore?
Erick Veloz he probably didn't play just marched
@@Greenday4-121 exactly
Erick Veloz he can’t play with one arm
0:56 NUT
Hearing this live in Houston was unreal
Keenan D The storm that was in the distance (in Houston) put up a nice visual too!
Socram Odaruj It was amazing and it was the first time seeing a drum corps show irl
TechieStudios same here
Ditto
I would say that Crossmen is the most "metal" corp out there, between the tenor player's broken arm and a bleeding colorguard member that year, and performing during a lightning storm. I was at that Houston show, the lightning was insane! Thankfully that show was never cancelled, but was delayed several times.
0:00 Bones!
The trumpet player at 0:28 is my band director I just found this that’s crazy
Mr Bennett
IMO should have gotten to 10th.
The player in the thumbnail is my Trumpet teacher
He would have been mine this year but sadly he left our school 😪
KHS?
KJH
@@gerardosaccountye he is a high school director
Hello Khs
Really great show. Should’ve done better than some others.
Yep
those props are weird....Vandergrift HS used them too....I like them though
Lemon Swounge it's because vandegrift is the crossmen
only one Mc_savage_Pancakes but cedar park is better. They got 1st at state in 2015 and vandegrift was a 5a band in 2015.
who had the harder show tho ;)
i was responding to the guy above me pls dont open fire on me, i am no fool
Haywood Yablowme lmao I realized that now
THEY ARE BETTER THAN MADISON BY FAR
That stick out 1:01
Rip
YIKE
Smh 🤦🏼♂️
Sad because it was a really nice hit
Wym?
This is almost a "Westworld" show. While this isn't the same song, there is a tune called "The Maze" in "Westworld." In fact, the name of the first season is "The Maze." Also, "Exit Music (for a Film)" is from "Westworld." "These violent delights have violent ends," anyone?
Exit Music (for a Film) is from OK computer tho but it was used in Westworld
Yes, but it's originally from "Romeo and Juliet," although it wasn't in the compilation album.
Great job Madison a color gaurd girl who split her head on a base drum and still finished
Drum major hot af
It was beautiful until they hung the release
Brian Arzola yeaaaaaa
First
Modern drum corps is the worst. It's turned into Broadway musical, and it's unbearable. 100 set pieces, feminine spandex bondage uniforms, singing, dancing, electric guitars, amplification. Seriously, in five years dci will just be Cats.
Same
Actually for a very long time the Crossmen were one of the corps holding onto the past, as the last world class corps to use G bugles, all the way up through 2013
Then stop watching it, bye.
I would expect to see this in the comments of corps like the Bluecoats or BD, but Crossmen? I've always thought they were a bit more on the traditional side
Nobody is forcing you to spectate. Bye.
