Truth be told sometimes I feel like a scalper because I sell hot wheels on ebay, but I keep it cheap, and I don’t sell random mainlines. If it’s a premium I sell it for 10.00, if it’s a collectible mainline I sell it for 5.00. Now comparing that to what you can buy them for in store it’s more expensive. But I’m making next to nothing and it’s really more to get the cars people want to their areas that may not have them readily available. I’ll give you an example. That Civic Type-R boulevard you show in this video I just sold to someone for 8.00 (sent offer I accepted), plus his shipping of 5.00. Now lets break down what I made, minus my shipping we’re back to 8.00, minus ebay’s 12.5% I’m down to 7.00. Essentially making pennies for my time and gas. Point being, I’m a collector myself, and I know the feeling when you find something you couldn’t find locally and it’s reasonable. Spread the love. If more people help people what a great place this would be. Stay gangster Phil🕶️✌️
The supra team transporters became really difficult to find in stores in Australia about a month or so ago and scalpers were wanting $70-$100 each for them but now the shops are so full of them ive even seen dump bins full of them for $12.50 lol
A nice little story. I went to my local walmart on a Monday and just happened to come across a fresh peg stocking of a case. The only one that really caught my eye for being fresh is the Morgan super 3. It is a great new casting!! The nissan r32 with the fast and furious on it there. The next day, after picking my 1 copy, as far as I could tell, they were all gone. At least I got one. The hotwheels' original Kei Swap van is a casting that caught my eye. It would be nice to see a cleaner deco on it.
Same in Toronto, Phil. Most of the diecast shows are full of resellers with flavor of the month Walmart Hot Wheels, the same cars passing around a dozen hands like a hot potato. 🤣

Most of the times is about patience, but we all go online, from time to time. The best thing is to do a research before paying money for a specific casting and if the price is right go for it!

Don't worry about the haters. I sometimes go into a store and walk out with 20 cars. I've had ppl approach me with an aggressive attitude to see what I have but upon looking at the cars I have, realize that I'm just buying the cars I like and my cart is filled with mainline peg warmers that no one is reselling online. Suddenly their attitude changes and they become nicer because my cart has no rare cars or TH cars. 😂 There's a psychosis in the Hotwheels hobby when it comes to TH or harder to find cars. However, I've met many decent ppl as well. In the end I try to focus on the positive side and avoid the hostiles.
Where do you get those wall display cases? The ones with the acrylic fronts and white backs? I have many of the acrylic mirrored back cases, but have never seen yours.

Its the employees for me. In UK, we dont get many huge bins or pallets. Unopened cases are extremely rare. The suoers and chases never evem jave chance to reach the pegs, so patience has nothing to do with it. You could sit and watch all day long opened boxes coming to the pegs, pre scalped
quick story, once i found a american carded 55 bel air gasser in the GTA at a walmart and it wouldnt scan also i found a bunch of short cards in a northern ontario walmart

I’m not here to spread negativity or nothing but that was not a US card that was a international card the US cards have a guaranteed for life stamp on the J hook and that’s how you know it’s a US card and for that super Silverado. It just seems suspicious because it was the only car on the pegs to have that stamp it was a little suspicious.
Hot Wheels is pathetically uneven and inconsistent in their distribution of mainline cars. In my area in the US our grocery stores typically get international cards. This year I found in a single dump bin with 4 A case Ford Escort $THs. 3 were on international cards 1 on US card from the same dump. Same stores get regular case mixes all the time. 1 week US cards then then the next week international cards. Our grocery stores also have been getting Zamacs cases as well as store exclusives such as Kroger, Dollar General etc. IMO most of the guys that are planting stuff are the creepy guys making the hunting douche videos every week acting like cases just fall out of the sky as an act of God.
Please tell the truth. These scalpers and resellers make me sick. They really hurt the hobby. About ready to stop collecting. You can’t even find some mainlines.
