This week we 3D print a very vital suspension component. But before doing that, we have to 3D scan the OEM trailing arm, design the new arm, and more. We also have our new uprights so we can install the upgraded axles and MAYBE get this car to drive!
Come along as Tony and Ryan problem-solve the complex engineering behind this project, and take jabs at each other all along the way!

Your channel is better than the old skool car building weekend shows but more personable and better production value in my opinion. Love y’all’s work ethic and abilities.
Well said.
Just the workflow of mocking up a modified stock part, 3d scan, cad modeling new part, 3d printing a prototype to test fit all in house is impressive as hell.
Keep up the good work!
I don't care if it takes 5 years to get Jigsaw done...the on camera dynamics and the editing makes this channel one of my favourites! Thanks GHPC for bringing me here!
To be honest the ‘slow’ progress works well for me. I dare say lots of your viewers are in the same boat, ducking out to the shed when we can spare an hour or two and constantly waiting on parts. It’s relatable! Like Ryan I have a newborn so this is all very close to home for me. ❤
You guys have great chemistry and content, with the perfect amount of levity. Thanks for sharing!
I like the nature b-roll, Please don't stop doing them
making my Saturday morning happier
Gents, it's a pleasure being allowed into your shop; thank you for putting in the extra effort beyond your day jobs. Like all of your other subscribers, I look forward to seeing what you get up to, warts and all! Please keep it up - favourite channel on here! 💪
Great to watch and see the real life highs and lows. Thanks for taking the time
I agree with comments here . Great dynamic . I can tell we have only seen the tip of the iceberg regarding Tony's skills.
4th like!!! Love the project. I’m not a crazy car enthusiast yet but I love it! Keep up the hard work guys! It’s looking great already!
Awesome! Thank you!
Love coming from Australia!
Always fun to watch you crazy goofballs building this stuff.
Great build - I love this.
Seeing ALL the warts n all is great - especially for my own Boxster rebuild ;-)
The quality of your videos has really gotten good. Nice explainer on the b- roll. Your edits look super professional. The builds are nice too, don't get me wrong. But the videos are becoming really cinematic. Keep it up. I look forward to them every Saturday morning, and get inspired by the approach you both take in the process.
Super cool! I just gave my 914 to a friend who has a 914 that needs an engine and other parts that were good on mine. I started mocking up parts for my 1928 Morgan build and then casting them out of aluminum for weight reduction as well as keeping a decent rigidity for such a light car. I definitely would love to build a super car similar to what you are doing. Keep up the great work. I am so happy I just found your channel.
Just when you think the quality cant get better, it does!!! Really love the build guys! Just take your time, we are patient!!😊 p.s. love the B roll
Love this channel. Since I found it, I watch every video. Any interest in showing off the day-to-day stuff that keeps the lights on?
I don’t mind the nature b-roll, I also think it’s super healthy that you walk off frustration… but I miss seeing some client projects and updates on your other projects, so some more b-roll on those might be cool to mix in too. For a part time project, I think you guys are making great progress every week!stoked to see it drive!🔥🔥🔥
Not a problem watching, your videos are always entertaining and educating 👍
Kept checking until I saw your post before RUclips notified me.... Happy Saturday!
Ryan needs to 3d print a new thumbnail for Tony. Good stuff guys! Good to see you doing what you love.
22:15 No, thank YOU! Thanks for taking us along for the ride :))
I love what you’re doing!
I wish you to reach 1m followers by the end of this build)
Love the longhaul projects... Appreciate the fact that you're documenting it for us to watch too.
I don't recall if I did or didn't comment on the nature B-roll, but I did notice it and appreciate the addition. I also kinda thought you were taking some hints from Grind Hard, and I thought that was also wise.
Great video as always! Love the passion in all of your videos.
Awesome! Y’all keep at it. But honestly I keep thinking I’m gonna get a jump scare from Tony’s banished thumb, a vision that’ll not easily be scrubbed from mind lol. Thanks gents👏
Love this build.
Where is the 928 custom wide body build???? Want to see more of that amazing metal work
Really like the new direction.
Saturday Morning routine: Grab a Cup of Joe and watch Crucible. I look forward to every Saturday, thank you
Love that!
I like the b-roll. It makes for a nice transition. Great job!
Nice!!!! It takes a long time to build cars in your spare time. Even longer when you have precious little of it. Nice job!!! Started at the beginning of the build last night. Digging where it is going!!!!
i want to also see the wide body porche. i would like to see what stage you are at after building the bumper plug
Thanks for another outstanding video, I learn something new each time with you guys. B-roll fan here, incidentally. Congrats on getting Squarespace as a sponsor, hats to the company for that decision, too. It was useful to understand the purpose of the build from Tony"s perspective. My son and I are restoring my first car, so he can be its custodian; obviously, your skills are world class whereas ours are rather more humble.
Great new format. Nothing wrong with real life scenarios and problems. Keep up the great work 👍👍
One of my favourite RUclips channels, sincerely.. Thanks guys, and congrats on spinning axles. 🥳🙌🏼
The slant nose, drew me in a long time ago, and I just love the content. I love Porsche of course!
Project Jigsaw is your best content so far.
Loving the project gents how does a mouse eat an elephant?
One bite at a time. I think the fact that its taking longer means we see more of the detail and thats wicked. Keep up the brilliant work
great job! always enjoy the videos
👍 Excellent progress. FWIW the CNC plasma process is 5-10 years older than Ryan.🤣
love the Saturday morning cartoons guys! 😁
I actually look forward to the Saturday morning antics y’all provide
Awesome! progress is fine, i actually thought that this was full-time work for you guys!
That engine needs a tune! Can't wait to see what you guys have planned for that!
Keep going guys, don't worry progress is too slow, it isn't!The Jigsaw journey is absolutely great to follow.
I love the nature b roll
Speaking of bionic fingers, my wife and I both have neodymium magnets implanted in our ring fingers. They aren't strong enough to pick up big things, but we can do bottle caps and small screws. I can also detect ferrous materials, for instance I can find a stud behind drywall by feeling the screws magnetically.
that's actually pretty cool. It doesn't affect your health?
Hey Lads. The format the nature breaks good content keep going. Keep it up. 👍
Looks like you need to turn the flow down on the blue filament. It will make the walls better looking and stronger. Dig the vid. New sub. 👍
Keep ut the good work! I watch every EP here from snowy norway!
Don’t rush it, this is cool
This series has been really fun to watch. Keep up the good work.
Awesome as always
Awesome video. Keep sharing the magic
Thank you! Will do!
good work guys, keep it up
Great channel lads!
Binky has taken eight years to date, has been seen in public a couple of times but has not been "announced" as a completed car. Good thigs often take a bit longer- we can wait, or stuff it. I have chosen to wait; good things have come fit in the past.
Yay a new episode of icky thumb garage lol
dont let tony do the video uploads... he will be missing the thumbnail for a bit XD
Ever thought of getting a horizontal 3D printer for the taller/longer pieces? Great video as usual guys!
We have! I’m not 100% sure on if they’re worth it yet (and they’re pretty pricey for that gamble)
Enjoying your channel building a mid engine V8 car also wish I had you workshop Please can you tell me Part number of suspension bush you fitted to 3D printed drag arm Thanks Gary
Whoaaaaa
Love this project. Except I wish the roofline was more like a GT-40. I hope you're putting a proper roof on the car. Unfortunately currently without a proper roof its looking more like a boxster/914 mix. Which isn't streamlined like a super car at all. I'm not trying to insult you.
You guys clearly have skills.
The car atleast on camera lacks the low streamlined/fastback roofline of a super car. Which it will never have without a proper roof.
Приємно витрачати свій час на перегляд вашіх страждань)) дякую
To error is to be human. It’s how you tackle it and overcome the situation. Class acts here because of that.
@@aaronburratwood.6957дуже розумно, гадаю ви таким і є)
Measure twice print once
How many episodes do you think it will take them before they realize they designed a Porsche 904.
I was staring at the headlights of a Macan picturing it on this project car but now I want to see a car similar to the 904. 👍
@bucknaykid5204 look at their scale model--its pretty close.
I had to look it up when I saw you had different colored eyes. I guess its called heterochromia? Something like %0.06 of the population has it and its more common in women. Pretty cool. Love the content by the way. I think its cool your doing a 1 off build. That's right up my alley.
Relax buds, I'm a Project Binck viewer... If you guys know what I'm talking
center seat center seat center seat
3d print oon a 45 angle
Has the thumb already an own OF account? 😜
he called a spindle/knuckle a upright? lol
3d print a new thumb nail :D
Not sure if y'all know, but someone has market your shop as closed on Google
I ll grooves
You could have 3d printed him a new thumb nail lol, apologies if anyone has already suggested this ;0)
I might have to at this rate. 😂🤝🏻
You should 3D print Tony a new thumb nail 😂
You guys posting weekly videos and worry about being slow.. have you seen Bad obsession motorsport?
WOW Americans are just so obsessed with BILLETT machined stuff weather its appropriate or not . with your basic fabrication skills your modelling and your plasma table those would have been fabricated in a single day possibly afternoon but i clearly know nothing about you tube popularity and i guess its part of learning and exercising methods and work flows not just the fastest way to point B I did still enjoy your video and I am excited about your project keep at guys great work
Comment !
But dude, I'm just a bit perplexed by what is happening with the 928? Seems like that project has stalled out, huh?
so, multiple days for a plastic test part.. (that could have been done with a mild steel test part and a mig in 45 min and then 'race ready' in Cromoly and tig in an another 2 hrs, maybe 3/4 day if you wanted to heat treat it after welding. ), armature hour on the business side.
Please never make Tony's thumbnail...the thumbnail.
