I met him after he did a Frazier show. I stood there off to the side while he chatted with people and he noticed me and asked me if I’d like an autograph. I said sure and he was so cool. Loves his fans.
This show was the first concert my wife and I went to together. My 13th time seeing EC (out of 15...so far, got tix for April). This is my favorite time I've seen him do it. I love that he gets extemporaneous in it with the Tears of a Clown. That is why I go to see him time after time. The Tears of a Clown part made me think of the cover of Spike and The Beloved Entertainer.

I believe since 2004 he has lived in NYC and Vancouver after marrying Diana Krall.
@@chriswills9437 I can understand and respect that, but his accent seems to change dramatically depending on where he is. Always loved his music but just questioning his accent.
@@colinlingham3013 I met someone who absorbs accents really easily. And she's lived in a few different places so her accent is really messed-up

not sure when I've heard more outright screwups from a major band. It hurt my ears not to mention the lazy trick of having the audience do your singing for you. Terrible
Bit harsh. Ok, getting someone up from the audience is a little tacky, but that's what this tour was based on. Honestly I really enjoyed the performance. The vocals were terrific and the band dynamics were great as well. Do you never make a mistake? Then you've never played live. Hurt your ears - really? It must be nice to be so perfect.
