OMG Hes so stinking cute!!! I've gotta try this one. Thanks for another adorable project.
💙 You are very welcome! I’m quite obsessed with how he turned out as well. Normally when I make these guys in previous years I don’t make a brush-able beard 😆 Thanks for watching 💙
@@SimplyInspiredbySheena that fluffy beard is perfect. I'm pretty obsessed with him as well. 😍
A great project thank you for providing such great directions

💙 Thanks! 🤗💙
OMG!!!! I love love love this!!! I have never seen anything like this in macrame and am so glad you popped into my videos. I haven't done macrame since the 70's but still have my (slightly used) board and this project would be so perfect to get back into it. Just one question, do you carry the red yarn or do you stop and weave each one? By the looks of the back, I would guess that you carry the small amounts. Thank you so much fro a great video and I would definitely give you more than a thousand thumbs up if I could!
💙 Yay! I’m happy to hear that you love this little Christmas gnome guy. I’m not quite sure I understand your question. The red yarn is tied on just the same as the single strand cotton. I used predominantly vertical double half hitch knots in this pattern. When switching back and forth between colours all I do is drop my previous colour and run the new one along the back, switching back and forth as needed. I hope this answers your question and I hope you enjoy 🤗
@@SimplyInspiredbySheena Question answered !!! you carry the red and pick it up in the next row....
@@craftygrandma56 💙 oh perfect! Glad I could help 🤗

im having a go at this i have got to putting the first green in so tomorrow will be on the beard
where can i send my photo of my gnome to you
Amei!!
So I have 10 cords for the beard but there are 17 spaces so I'm not sure where they should be? Thanks for the help!
Never mind I put it on slow and got it ! Thanks!
💙 I’m happy to hear you were able to slow it down and see where the last two beard cords were.
You can also take a peek at the beginning of this video during the “screenshot” clip where I’ve indicated where the rya knots are with a ¥ on the grid pattern
Happy Holidays 💙🤗
Just got the trimming to do then it is finnished
💙 Yay!! Hope you enjoyed this cute little Christmas gnome pattern 🤗
Sorry how long is the natural cord that is being the main cord to wrap around all of them?
💙 an exact measurement for your working cord doesn’t really matter because you will always cut and attach another piece as you go. It’s whatever length you feel comfortable working with…HOWEVER, I personally like working with 60 inches (152cm) at one time, which is roughly my arm span, but you do what is comfortable to you 😊
Thankyou. Yes noticed through the video you said it doesn’t matter the length cause you can always add :) nearly finished 🥰
@@lucyferguson5846 💙 oh yay! They are very cute wall hangings. I sell a lot of these guys around Christmas time
