Hi guys, before anyone leaves a comment, I couldn't speak in this tutorial because my neighbour’s landscaping noise outside for the past week was so loud you could barely hear me speak. So, instead of waiting who knows how many days, I decided to record it anyway!
I hope you all enjoy making these cute little gnomes, and yes, you can make them with string/cord for the beard instead if you don't have any roving wool like I used in this video. It will still look great, this was my preference as I am making these as gifts.
If you are new to macrame or need extra help with these knots used in this video, please watch these videos before you begin:

This is adorable! Just wondering if you could use the poly stuffing used for crafts?
I’ve never used it but I don’t see why not, it’s sounds like a great idea! ❤️

So my ring is a bit larger (7cm) and 18 cords aren't quite enough to cover the ring. Can I add a couple cords without messing up the square knot pattern?
Yes, that is totally fine, so long as it is an even number of cords. (Each square knot uses 2 cords) it should work out:)
Thanks! I'm a newbie to macrame and love your video instructions - so clear and concise! And I like both the on-screen written instructions and the fact that I don't have to convert all the cm/mm to inches/feet!😉
I love it 😊
Thank you so much 😊 ❤️❤️❤️
