*This video contains a giveaway ;) I would watch it until the end hahaha =P* 11 Years, damn! These years just passed by so fast! How did you stumble across my channel? I am curious =)
Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. You're one of the first RUclips channel that i subscribe. I think I found you when I'm searching for some guitar cover, I don't remember what song is probably something from Metallica.
About 6-8 years ago I was searching for a Master Of Puppets cover by a female guitarist, your cover was at the top of the list. I subscribed to your channel that day.
I saw ur cover on Master of Puppets 5y ago and i became a subscriber ♡ im playing actually from 3years....but idk can i reach ut level soon :| nvm. U are amazing. Du bist außergewöhnlich? Im not sure, but i think is right wrote ♡
My favorite moment was when you picked up a guitar. If it were not for that moment We all would have missed out on an amazing guitar player, inspiration and personality in this world. This planet could use more folks like you.
I absolutely love the fact that you have been fearless since the beginning. When I first started playing guitar it sounded awful and I can't imagine being able to record that and broadcast it to the world. But you were willing to push on and document this stuff to show the world. I absolutely love you for it. Being candid is probably the biggest influence you're going to be able to give your followers. Thank you so much you are amazing and an awesome guitarist. My favorite moment is seeing you get to play Equilibrium on stage. You got to live a lot of other guitarists' dream. Congratulations.
Sve pohvale za tvoj rad! Zaista impresivno. Sve dobro ti želim i uspjeh!
As a beginning guitarist, videos like this make me feel a lot better about the fact that I absolutely suck at it. It's comforting to see that everyone starts off struggling like I do. Although I will admit that you sounded a lot better four months in than I sound now with one year under my belt. Thanks for this. It gives me a little bit of hope to know that I'm not the only one that struggles at first.
I’m about a month in and I know it’s not much time at all but I kinda suck as of right now. Keep going though, some people take a little longer to get to that skill level and you shouldn’t feel bad if you aren’t as good at others. It’s not about how fast you get there, it’s about getting to a point where you’re happy.
All these years what you see is how you were polishing your style and showing your personality. You used your guitar as an instrument to express yourself. I have followed you from your beginnings as I was looking for tutorials to learn to play and I found you. Your evolution was gigantic, not like mine xd. You are the inspiration of many people who wanted to learn to play an instrument. Kept rockin!!!
I always look forward to these progress videos. They're such an inspiration. I'm so thankful YT recommended your Master of Puppets video to me all those years ago. It quite literally changed my life. Seeing you crush obstacles and constantly improve always makes me feel like I can achieve any goal. It's so incredible to see how fast you grew both as a player and a content creator. Your journey has been amazing. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. Aside from playing with Equilibrium, my favourite thing would have to be the awesome original parts you add and seeing you start to do full original compositions on the channel. It's so great!
Perseverance... if you want it bad enough, you'll find a way! Awesome! Congrats on new album. Metal is alive and well! Just me... I get the lip ring... kinda takes from your natural beauty, but.. hey... tear it up girl!!!
This is great. I am 50 and have been playing on and off since I was a teenager. However since I don't practice enough I am solidly intermediate in my skills. I took a year of lessons a few years ago and was able to learn a few things that were holding me back as far as technique goes. I have way too many guitars for a casual player too. I loved that you were practicing so much early on. It is the ONLY way to get good. Some people may have a bit of a natural talent and pick it up faster but no one gets good without practicing. So to anyone thinking of starting to learn but think they can't do it: You can. Anyone can. You just need to dedicate yourself to practicing and not giving up. You will suck at first and think you will never get good but if you practice you will. I didn't have the internet in the 80's and 90's to help me but now we do. If you stick to it, you will get awesome just like JJ. There are so many great guitar lesson channels to watch.
Haha, this brought some cool flashbacks. I've been following you since the beginning and seen your progress. You've done quite well, young lady. Keep it up! 🤘
Heeeey! So cool to see you around! 🤘🏻 I remember it quite well, all back 2012 with the SOAD covers. So random to see you back here! Hope you're fine! 😃
#76 was my fave, because it's just you being a star while rockin'. You made amazing progress very fast. Life can easily get in the way but you did it. Congrats and thank you for the great entertainment.
Haha! You were a better guitarist at six months than I am after 50 years! 😂 I realise that you have put a lot of work into your playing over the years , but it has been so worth it Jassy - you rock. My favourite clip is you on stage with Equilibrium - that was truly awesome. #JJSONEGIRLBAND
Love the drive you have and my fav is at 10:09. The only acoustic vid I have seen from you and it was wonderfully done and even better was the diversity of music.
I truly envy your focus and dedication. I tried learning back when I was in high school, but between depression and lack of motivation, I just kept giving up. I never felt like I was learning anything or getting better. I hope to give it another serious shot someday
Hard to pick a favorite! Id have to say when you got to play with your favorite band! 💗 Girl, you are absolute 🔥!!!! I'm almost 50, but you are such an inspiration! You advanced so quickly and self-taught too! You are my favorite guitarist! I started on an acoustic a little over a year ago, self teaching using RUclips. I thought I was making good progress, but omg...😂 I've got a lot of work to do! but I'm not giving up. Thank you for these videos! It's pretty cool to see how you've grown over the years and how effortless you play. It's amazing! I mean even your hair is awesome! Ok. I must practice now. 😂 Lost my electric amp in a hurricane but ordering a new one! Rock on! 🤟🎸 Happy New Year to you and yours!
Your best video Jassy, wow that was massive. Loved all the fashion, all those beautiful guitars and all the heavy notes. Thanks for sharing the journey!
Oh best part.. Definitely the hair 😍 you wouldn't be the same Jassy if you'd stayed with the natural colour. You skills have certainly grown amazingly over the years, I'm jealous as hell! I remember when you got to play on stage with Equilibrium, I felt so happy for you 😁 keep up the amazing work, hope to see Oversense in an arena one day #jjsonegirlband 🤘🎸
Great playing and great progress. I like your Oversense stuff the best....I think that's the best thing. It's one thing to do all of the covers on RUclips, but it's much, much more to make you own original music and to play it live! Puts you above many others...well done! :)
Oh, and my other favorite is when you smile. It's validation how happy playing makes you. That's why you are so darn good! Being passionate is a key and why you are so successful!
you were already good 5 months after the beginning ... no wonder why you are so good today ... 5 hours a day is a lot and not everyone can dedicate as much daily time to practice but that is what it is required to become as good as you are "quickly" (10 years is not so much :-) I am playing guitar since ... over 30 years, a couple of hours a week and I won't ever reach your level, but that's ok. Not everyone can become a virtuoso and not everyone should try because often it is discouraging and frustrating when you do not have all the time to practice so much. The main thing, with any instrument, is to have fun and be happy no matter your level, and enjoy keeping learning at your own speed. ... Great journey !! And Happy New Year 2022 to all !
Jassy another year has past you are truly a Master you could play arenas all over the USA people would drink shit loads of beer to hear you in the states!! Lead guitar rocks in my country again I truly have been Proud to be Patron 0f almost 2 years ROCK ON JASMIN
You have accomplished great strides, I think you should lighten up on yourself with the negative remarks from you. You are a great guitar player n musician please give yourself some more credit, you deserve it. Happy New Year!😆😉
Hey Jessy I really enjoyed watching your progress, like you I started young, at ten, and 11 years later could play a bit better! There was no internet then so it was done the old school way of listening to cassette tapes and records, and following tabs and books. But you practiced 5 hours per day as a child!, impressive.. So how old were you at the beginning of the video?
I love the dedication you put into this i love the fact you picked some thing you love and kept at it for all these years and more years to come wish i had done some thing simillar too which i could be proud of but truly i am happy for you and thank you for taking us along the ride
JJ du bist echt megatalentiert und diszipliniert, ich spiel seit 14 Jahren :D shame* und kann leider nicht ansatzweise was du kannst!! HUT AB! :) Und eure Band ist auch echt spitze.
Great video! Your progress in just the first year was impressive, far better than my first year...which was in the early 80's. I've only every been a bedroom player and collector and I am always envious of young people who are bitten by the bug and proceed to start bands and basically live guitar as a lifestyle. So jealous! Thanks for the content and Happy 2022!!
You make any guitar sound good. That Gibson ES 345 sure was out of your element. 11 years already, wow you have really progressed. Not many teenagers would be willing to practice 5 hours a day. Well Zakk Wylde says he used to practice all night and sleep in school. XD I think you made better choices to get to where you are. Happy New Year Jassy. I will be watching next year as I have for most of your 11 years.
Ich hab erst vor dem halben Jahr angefangen, aber dein Video hat mir einfach richtig Mut gemacht weiter zu machen, weil es so schön zeigt wie jeder Mal anfängt. Ich danke dir dafür!
You were better at 6 months than I was at 22 months! I’m 50 with arthritis. I hope I can get good enough to play accurately and in time at 80% speed someday as a rhythm guy. I have a good teacher though. 🤞 I came across your channel because I like watching regular people play stuff on home set ups. To hear their tones and watch their fret hands/see how they play. I started learning guitar mid life and missed out on learning at school with other kids, or with friends. RUclips provides me a window to a larger community that I don’t have.
So cool to see your progress grow and how fast it grew. Love your videos. Watching you, Ola Englund, and a couple others really motivates me to play and practice more.
Great video jassy! You’ve been a huge inspiration for me! I started 11 months ago and I really enjoy watching your progress and how far you’ve came! Definitely one of my favourite guitarist 😊🤘🏾
I just watched the video about your comment section being horrible and i wanted to come here to let you know that this video is the best one you ever made. Why? Because this shows others that perseverance and dedication can pay off on anything you do. You have come a long way and I am proud for you. May you forever be able to rock out girl!
Hey Jassy, It's Andrew and I just want to say not only are you an amazing guitar player, but you also have the coolest guitars one of my favorites is the bloody handprint guitar with the single pickup another one of my favorites that you use in most of your videos is the Ibanez tequila sunrise guitar with the Maple neck if I'm not mistaken and of course the guitars you use for drop tuning songs, but it's really hard to pick one of your guitars that I like because I truly like all of your guitar collection especially the music you’re able to make with them remember it's not the instrument that makes the musician it's the musician that makes the instrument please keep being the wonderful person that you are stay safe stay happy and stay well I can only hope when my guitar comes back I can be half as good as you or Alexi Laiho among others of course I'm excited to hear what one of his pickups will sound like I already know it's going to be great and maybe one day I'll be on RUclips and be just as good as you thank you for being my friend I really appreciate it and rock on.
This is my first month and half of learning to play the guitar and I can proudly say that I can already play Are you dead yet? (the solo part not yet obviously) and this video is so motivational, you are really awesome Jessie, keep up the good work 🖤and I don't care, I am going to stick to it and become as good as possible pushing myself to the limits. Playing the electric guitar is everything to me now 🖤
That was totally awsome Jassy i liked where you got to appear on stage and also when you started to write your own solos 🤘❤🎸thank you for sharing your rise to stardom you are absolutely incredible 👏🏻👏🏻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dein Fortschritt ist echt der Hammer \m/ . Ich muss dir danken , deine Videos haben mich inspiriert wieder zur Gitarre zu greifen , nachdem ich 10 Jahre gar nicht gespielt habe . Keep going \m/
What an amazing well earned accomplishment. You can really see your development along the way. However, I would argue that you had the dedication and fire in your soul from the start. Here's to another 11 years.
I can't believe I have been watching you that long. My how time flies. The progress is great. We all make mistakes when we play. The thing is making the mistakes and keep going. And most of the time most people don't notice. Keep up the great playing. You consistently get better as you go. Love your channel. Maybe some day I'll see you in a show in the States.❤️ ✌️🤘
Love your videos, you are SO talented and also a very nice person. I am just an old grama (83) who has been trying to play the electric guitar. It is such fun!! You are an inspiration kiddo. Thanks for showing us all the talent you have.
That was awesome to watch!! I'm in my 50s and have been playing for many years. Lately I have been working on some classical guitar playing. To anyone who feels like they're in a rut, there is always new things to learn.
Okay how cool is this? I appreciate you doing nothing wish I had done something similar with drums but damn you got way better way faster than I ever imagined I could
Even two years of your progress were more than I've managed in 20 years! I've started to realise that I need to push myself out of my comfort zone and practice in a more detailed way, rather than just playing the same (fairly easy) songs over and over and expecting to make a breakthrough. Here's to improving! #jjsonegirlband
This seriously makes me want to get back to practicing for hours and hours per day. It's never too late to pick up the guitar! Congratulations on all of your hard work and many achievements. The best is yet to come!
That leather suit design you were wearing near the end literally looked like one of the darkbrother hood assassins out of skyrim! Your progress is amazing and it's inspired me to push my practise further and learn some of those sweep skills! Favorite moment definetly was when you mentioned being up on stage with that band. I've had dreams of doing that with my favorite band and I can't imagine the emotions you must have felt. You were amazing and played so tightly with them. Just shows how much dedication and determination and get to to where you want to be!! #jjsonegirlband your amazing 👏
You may be self taught...but to get as good as you are is a gift. Keep playing JJ!!! You remind me of my bassist friend that came over to my house, picks up my bass and says "I haven't played in over a year so I will probably suck" then proceeds to play TOOL "Schism" without missing a beat.... LOL. Both he and You are VERY talented! Meanwhile 3 years in and Im still struggling to play Dazed and Confused at the very end (with the fast scale repeats)...lol
The level of progress is incredible. Clearly, you are an exceptionally talented guitarist but in some respects your level of ability during just the first year astounds me. You acknowledge that you practised for 5 hours a day which I’m sure makes a huge difference but even so!
I know I keep saying this, but you genuinely inspire me to continue in moments when I feel "I can't do this" or "I'm getting nowhere", but it's true. I think you picked up speed quickly (this is still my "diavolo nella musica pesante" :v) , and you should be so proud of your development in vibrato, bending and dynamics. :) You asked us to tell you our favourite moment in the video: I have a few, but I'll choose your Vivaldi'Tribute as I'm having a "classical metal" kind of day! 🤘🤘:)
The solo in Kirk Hammett style is the best one I had ever seen. Congratulations and good luck in everything you do! See you on the next year! Happy new year 2022! 😘🤘🤘
Awesome progress! Putting the practice in for the win. I'm late to finding your channel, accident as I'm hoping to have the Chameleon blue Ibby land tomorrow!
I love every bit of it. It's great watching ylu develop from a little girl. You have such a talent. You are so great. Very proud of you. Keep up the good work. Keep rocken.
I will just say that you are an inspiration that keeps me focused and working to develop my guitar playing skills. Thank you for all you do for us Jassy!
Me and u r on the same page as far as guitar playing. I'm self taught too. I think u r a damn good guitar player, keep it up, I'm always watching ur videos. Rock on 🤘
Glückwunsch was du geschafft hast. Enorm!
I think the progress is amazing cool to look back at it where it started .guitar you never stop learning I think. I have some old videos of me too and yeah I have improved alot too. Keep up the good work with the streams I,m glad I found your RUclips channel it's fun to watch and you play alot of the songs I like too. To many moments to pick one of your videos 😅 there all good 👍
*This video contains a giveaway ;) I would watch it until the end hahaha =P*
11 Years, damn! These years just passed by so fast! How did you stumble across my channel? I am curious =)
Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. You're one of the first RUclips channel that i subscribe.

Best wishes for 2022 sweetie
nice to see your amazing progress! Keep on shredding 🤟

Love you. Keep up the amazing work!!!
Thank you Kyle 😊

I love the dedication you put into this i love the fact you picked some thing you love and kept at it for all these years and more years to come wish i had done some thing simillar too which i could be proud of but truly i am happy for you and thank you for taking us along the ride

That was amazing! The Doom song E1M1, is it closer to Master of Puppets or No Remorse to play?
I've been playing almost a year, and MY fingers hurt from just watching your compilation. Ha. Great progress. I enjoy your videos. Thanks!
Really cool video. Love this kind of travels to see how it all began and the progress. 👍👍

I came across your channel because I like watching regular people play stuff on home set ups.
What I like best is just that how it shows practice works. If you stop trying that’s where your progress stops.
I have to say I like the 2012 video where you had a 8 month guitar play very cool jassy
Thank you Stewart =)
@@JassyPabst you're welcome jassy
Great video, you are such an inspiration! I started playing the guitar 1 year ago and I'm still not that good so I hope to become as good as you!
No words... you are just an inspirstion ! Keep making as u are!!!
So hard to pick out the best moment. Simply amazing what progress you have made.
Been playing myself for 11 years as well. I definitely need to practice more cause I’m no where close to your level!!! Keep it up
This is my first month and half of learning to play the guitar and I can proudly say that I can already play Are you dead yet?
Excellent work!! Next step: Metal in Public?
You progress a Lot , but there is one thing that I beg you to never change, Your smile , cheers from an Brazilian fan !
Oh how you have grown and blossomed into a beautiful metal princess from a tiny black seed 🤘😎👍
I appreciate you doing nothing wish I had done something similar with drums but damn you got way better way faster than I ever imagined I could
I am primarily a ACDC, Metallica and Judas Priest fan but I liked all of your covers as well. You rock hard!!!
Watching the improvement over years of dedication is incredible. Great video.
I think that your road to success has been very inspiring! :)
Your Amazing player!!! Here is to another 11 years.
You keep me inspired to do better.
I think your live performance with a band needs a whole video . Sounding really good.
I think that best moments was when you uploaded this video. gut gemacht, das ist großartig! Wunderbar
am meisten mag ich den fakt, das du immer du geblieben bist und Metal am Leben erhältst
18:25 was my favorite moment, I loved seeing all the oversense stuff!
Your progress is amazing! Way to persevere. Cheers 🍻!
Your 5 month progress will be better than I will ever be. You have so much talent
Me and u r on the same page as far as guitar playing. I'm self taught too. I think u r a damn good guitar player, keep it up, I'm always watching ur videos. Rock on 🤘
You are a fantastic player Jassy! So glad you share your talent and passion with us! Have a Happy New Year!
Glückwunsch was du geschafft hast. Enorm!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G You are an incredible artist, continue playing Jassy!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!
I think the progress is amazing cool to look back at it where it started .guitar you never stop learning I think. I have some old videos of me too and yeah I have improved alot too.
