Awesome job once again! Like anything else, you’ve got to crawl before you walk and walk before you can run. Once I retire in a few years, you’ve encouraged me to start a “tiny excavation company.” It’ll give me a little more money to live on and something to do before God calls me home.👍
Thanks! Visiting a friend who just bought a Kubota, spent 6 hrs on it yesterday, clearing land alongside a drag strip so it can be used as a runway. Today, I'm using your tips to make a roadway
Good morning Todd, this job is very well done and I would also like to say that your explanation at the end was very good with some valid points of fact.
I have watched and listened again. I absolutely love the videos and the information. I especially like watching the dirt move and the grading process. I don't know where this obsession has suddenly come from but is relaxing. Did you have to get any official schooling for this career or did you learn by experience? Not my expertise but would love just to watch the process take place. Thanks for sharing!
Great video very informative. I wish you went though the pricing process for cutting in a driveway? Is it calculated man and equipment x number of days to complete? Thank you
Wish he'd done my driveway... (30 years ago) 1.1 miles long!! You can get on a horse and ride for 3 days out my front yard and not see a paved road ;-) (I live about an 1 hour from him in Lenoir NC, used to be the furniture capitol of the world b4 the "Free Trade Agreement...").
If you're referring to the Excavator.....it is way more versatile than a Skid. You hit rock, hard pan or a stump trying to build that driveway and a skid is useless. I own both.
"jUsT bUy A sKiDsTeEr!" using the tools you have is sometimes easier than buying or renting a different one to do the same task. It would have taken far longer to get ahold of a skidsteer than it would to just do the job with the tools he had, the tools he had did the job, why question it? It is also a tutorial on how to do things with an excavator, why would he use a different piece of equipment on an excavator tutorial?
I do not remember if I ever mentioned dozers and grading but the way you were digging, I thought you were expecting me or us to watch you spend several hours digging a whole to China. According to Andrew Canereta, A few times up and a few times down with massaging and drainage and done. That scraping that you are doing with the bucket, too long and unessaseraly on the dull side.
I leave in Poland, I purchased my cat 302.7 just one week ago. Your vidoes are helping a lot ! Thank You so much.
The Master Operator is in class again!

@@DigginLife21 So glad I got rid of the backhoe, and got an excavator!!!!
Wouldn't it be a lot easier and faster to do that with a skidsteer?

Looks like when it rains it will wash the drive way out.
We will see soon enough.
