I had cop aka criminal phone and ask me to attend an interview. I told to come and arrest me. No name no reference no warrant. Haven't heard for 2 years.
i missed court after denying what i was being accused of during the voluntary interview. Will the court just go ahead without me or will i be arrested/ pulled over while driving ? This was 1 month ago now and i havent heard anything
That’s true but the services of the duty solicitor are free. The crucial thing is that the police are trying to incriminate you and should never allow yourself to be interviewed without the presence of a solicitor.
Someone tell me what INvoluntary police interview means? Do the same rules apply? Will I be arrested when I arrive? Is it because the police haven’t got enough evidence to arrest me as to why I have an appointment booked?
@@Michelle-Davis I wasnt arrested actually, they just wanted some more information/evidence to something i was accused of. I denied it and didn't hear back for a while and then got a letter come through the post to say i had a court appearance but i didnt go because i had already denied what i was being accused of. The court appearance was 1 month ago now and i havent heard anything from anyone. I have been expecting to be pulled over whilst driving but havent yet. What do you think will happen now ? Shall i just wait to be arrested or wait for another court appearance ?
In 2012 the police came to my home at 6am, I wasn’t at home, I had left for work already, my wife answered the door and the police asked for me and wouldn’t believe I wasn’t at home they tried to force entry but my wife said no not without a warrant, she was badly shaken by this, they told her I was in serious trouble and she should fone me immediately which she did, I spoke to them and they arranged a voluntary meeting at a police station the next day at 10am. I knew I had done nothing wrong I am not a criminal and the only thing against my name is a fight where I defended myself at the age of 19 for which I was fined for assault against a person, other than that nothing. In 2012 I was 52 years old so many years on from my fight aged 19. I attended the police station spoke to the civilian guy at the desk and was asked to wait in the room to the right, as soon as I was seated the door opened and 2 detectives came in threw me against a wall arrested me and smirking and joking about how stupid I was for thinking it was a voluntary thing took me into the custody suite where I was processed, my belongings taken, fotos taken of me, my fingerprints and dna taken then I was thrown in a cell from 10:30 until around 4 pm. Around 2:30pm a detective came to the cell window with my keys they had taken from me and asked if they opened my front door, I said yes, I later found out they had been to my home with people from the nhs counter fraud dept, who as I understand we’re not allowed legally to enter my home, neither were the police I believe as there still was no warrant. Around 4pm they took me to a room for interview, as you can imagine I was confused and angry to find out they had been to my home and that they had lured me into this situation. I wasn’t very helpful with they’re questions as a result, so they threatened to go to my wife’s place of work and drag her out if I didn’t cooperate, my wife was a very senior civil servant with many staff this would have been a huge embarrassment to her and they threatened and intimidated me with this, so I answered their questions. This was all because I had given a character reference to a friend who applied to be a nurse 3 years previously and unbeknown to me was in the process of taking action against the nhs due to an accident at work and in an effort to discredit my friend and have him fired I was accused of assisting a person to obtain a pecuniary advantage by providing a reference. So long story short after the interview I was teased and thrown back in the cell where I was offered a coffee and a pasty to eat after 8 hours, around 2 hours later an inspector came and said he had authorised my detention for a further 24 hours, he again was messing with me because 10 minutes later I was released without charge and no further action required. At that point I asked if they will destroy my fingerprint record fotos and dna samples taken as per European law, I was told this is the Devon and Cornwall police we don’t give a shit about European law. I tried and tried to speak to someone regarding this at head office in Exeter and was basically fobbed off at every turn. I feel I was badly treated and now hate the police, they proved to me that they ate corrupt liars and bullies and that there is definable 2 tier policing. My friend is a police officer and one of the detectives who illegally raided my house is his friend and she was boasting to his wife that I had a lovely home and that she had sat in my sun room. I used to have respect for the job that my friend did but not anymore. I wonder is it too late to take legal action against the police regarding this, I tried at the time but was laughed at by them, one inspector laughed in my face and said we have a guy who was wrongly jailed for 10years and he can’t do anything about it so how do you think you will get on for being inconvenienced.
I did speak to a solicitor at the time but it appeared, as I remember that it was gonna cost me more than I could afford to take action and there was no guarantee that I would win. However, I could afford to take action now.

Invitation for a chat with you is just pure harrasment
You better have a few quid to spare for these solicitors. Justice isn't really for the poor.

always remember the pen is mightier than the sword. So, say nothing and let the pen do it's work.
Just watched the police demand a V interview but they failed to give details other than it related to a social media post. Is that acceptable, please?
really helpful. thankyou
