The production on this is incredible. I wish more black metal bands had this kind of production

Thinking that bm albums should have polished sound is MISSING out on what bm truly is.
99% of music is over compressed to suit the hear of the biggest amount of people
This isn’t the philosophy of bm, this isn’t a music that wants to be liked.
You have to learn to find the beauty inside of an absolute mess, as farfetched as it may sounds.

It's produced by Demigod Recordings, they normally do tech death and slam/bdm production. Honestly everything they work on sounds phenomenal.
@@erradate6425 I get your point,but honestly,if every BM album must sound like it was recorded with"toaster",that itself,is"just"doing things the same way,over and over again. BM used to be about breaking the rules and do things in"new"ways.

Sometimes, when you hear an album -or an extended release, there may be a track or two where you might think 'yeah its alright..' but with this album, not one weak tune amongst the lot. I must say, I stumbled across this channel - and group totally by chance.
This is a definate purchase for me!, and Season of Mist you have a new subscriber. Excellent stuff alround.
And how did they all sit/stand for all that time, and not one of them scratched his balls! Not once!!
Crisp production. Sinister ambience. Cult symbology. Powerful and majestic sounds.

2nd time listening through. The whole ending of Mare is phenomenal. 47:07 onward. The whole song is amazing really. Well, whole album is!
This album was even better than I hoped it was. Easily one of my favorites of this year
They are in somekind of a trance. Good album. They have made the whole album music video. It aint easy to just stand or sit still over 53 minutes, its dedication.
They were on Transcending Obscurity, as is my band. Good to see them step up a notch.

glare is a brilliant song! 17:55 the scariest,most hateful guitars, insane eargasmic drumming. once the song ends, it does beautifully; your brain is saturated.

I don't see what the big deal is about them just sitting there listening to the album... this is what 90% of a crowd looks like at a DM/BM show in L.A. Sitting/standing there, arms crossed, not moving, looking unimpressed, listening, judging, critiquing, reassuring themselves that they're in a better band, then telling you how sick the band was after the show .

IMHO Limbo is absolutely amazing and it blew me away! My favourite songs are To Ain, Conspiranoia and Null. Thanks to you guys of SOM for introducing me to this brilliant band. Some fine BM straight outta Portugal. Gaerea is awesome! 🤘 🎸
