i think the reason why some are so similar is that they are made by in a no name factory who sell it to retail who then slap they brand names on it

I've found that Pop Tarts brand frosted strawberry are far better than other store brands. I have also found buying high fiber granola bars, that like the toaster pastries many stores carry identical bars in identical wrapping.
