    5:28 Noticed that the window was down. That way he can see if the foam or speakers (if new install) comes in contact with the window and window mechanisms. Smart!

    The foam sheet would do the same job of stopping rattle without filling the speaker compartment with the stuff, in fact you have reduced in volume the speaker cabinet that gives you the bass, you only need to foam touching surfaces.

    • @user-se8nh3yu1e
      @user-se8nh3yu1e 4 года назад +4

      hunter100t it’s a huge cavity so the speaker had much more air space than it needed.

    • @alejandroperez5368
      @alejandroperez5368 Год назад

      @@user-se8nh3yu1e Nope. The cavity he created with the foam is a rather small space for a 6.5" speaker. Having the whole internal door space is a lot better.

    Why didn't you deaden the doors while you had the cards off?? That would have made an even bigger improvement again. I've done both my doors extensively and while it's a ball ache the improvement in sound quality is absolutely worth it.

    why dont they make these kits for 5x7/6x8 speakers?

    • @joseluisruiz3789
      @joseluisruiz3789 6 лет назад +1

      Pentium stinger makes them the model number is RKFR5768 for 5x7 to 6x8 speakers. The only thing I don't know about this kit is if it's only for 1 door speaker or 2 door speakers because the kit cost $29.89 which is a bit on the expensive side for just 1 speaker if that's the case.

    • @iiSup3rior
      @iiSup3rior 5 лет назад

      Why don't you just find foam at a store and make it yourself if you can't find it. I have 5x8 and I switched over to 6.5 using an adapter. If you ever upgrade, don't get mdf adapters I learned the hard way, they rot and break apart

    I’d like to start out by saying thank you for trying to get this item review.
    But…
    Please do the fast forward in silence.
    1.38 seconds of a “super fat beat 👎🏿” just makes me want to skip the video.
    I would rather hear you farting, drinking milk, taking a dump etc.
    Please understand that absolutely no one listening on their phone or headset can tell one dB of difference in your audio quality.
    I appreciate your time in attempt.
    But what do you think about it?
    Can you give your own opinion of advantage/disadvantage/ on bass range etc.?
    I hope they sound better for you , and I do hope that you use my rant as constructive criticism towards making more understandable and accurate videos. Best of luck!

      @@user-se8nh3yu1e whilst your right about aftermarket speakers being a lot better. He is also right, no matter what kind of speaker you have, if it isn't sealed then you always lose bass, it's simple acoustics, look up open baffle speakers, it's a similarish principle to what's happening more without the foam
