Just used this for my 5-door mk5 which had a blown speaker, wiring is slightly different but principle is basically the same. Thanks!
Speaker fitted upside down. Even though you cant see it once the door card is refitted it would kill my OCD knowing that it was wrong!

Good job, man! Thank's for instructions! I have now plastic adaptors, same speakers and adaptors for JVC. This days I will put them on my Astra H. THANKS AGAIN!

Thanks for the video! This jack at 7:58 holds like crazy, door jack was easy to remove, this one is terrible.
You replaced component speakers (sub-woofer + tweeter) with coaxial speakers (that have the tweeter in the middle of the cone). You probably hear a lot of highs and the tweeter in the new speaker is dimmed down because of the factory crossover.

What is better in this situation? Install this coaxial speakers with tweeter or install speaker without tweeter like Pioneer TS-G1731i ?
I've replaced my front speakers with coaxial Hertz ones and the sound is actually nice, does not have too many highs.
where is the factory crossover ?

Really good vid mate I'm gonna give it a go this weekend. Changing the vauxhall speakers to Kenwood ones. Not an easy job if hands cold. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍
Yeah give it a go mate, yeah it’s a bit tough when your hands are cold because it does hurt the fingers when taking clips off, but it’s a better weather now :-). Thank you so much
R4hmans, can you sell this astra speakers?
I'm pretty sure you put those speaker adapters on wrong. They have a thick side and a thin side which helps point the speaker more towards the passenger. The way it looks like you fitted it it looks like they would point towards the footwell. At least the two pairs got have that angle change and it looks like yours do too.
Great video! Can you do how to replace de rear speakers i have astra gtc 1.3 cdti 3 doors 2 seats. I cant find a way to the rear speakers.

Yeah I hope it goes well too. I am also changing the head unit to a Kenwood DPX 5100BT. Thanks to your video I have also ordered the needed clips and just awaiting their arrival, and the weather improvement to have a go at it. i will be sure to use your video as reference and let ya know how i got on.

Just dont buy coaxial speakers for the front, or put them in upside down😂
What happens with my car is that the door cover shakes in the top part.. It should be that 5 clips that aren't in place right?

Doesn't matter what he calls, he got the job done and explaining pretty well and not many vids on these out there. So learn to appreciate first people before taking a jab at silly things that don't matter or some use of terminology.

Lol, coz someone blew the factory speakers by cranking the bass, like the a-hole did on my car😕. Fit a sub man, don't blow out the 6" mids😳

Kieran Marcel with the back speakers you would need to take all the trims off to get to the speakers which is a bit harder so I haven't done that, sorry I couldn't help

I used the iPhone 6s Plus when I did this video
because I thinking between jvc cs j1720 and jvc cs v628
+rami romario the jvc cs j 1720 is ok but it's not all that, the voice is clear but there is not much bass or the quality isn't as good because the standard one sounds the same as the jvc but with less bass, but if you wanted one for treble then this is good.
R4hmans are you using the factory fitted stereo?

a 6x9 ain't a straight fit, Neigther you can fot one in an original speaker hole, tried it in my 2006 Astra H (mk5) Twintop but didn't work... so I decided to make an extra hole in my doorpanels just to make them fit, and now I run 2 6x9 Phoenix Gold speakers in my doors ;)
So basically ive learnt this can be done with nothing but a flat head and yellow clips aslong as you fit it upside down ahaha
Sorry but this is very messy install, I would never touch the cone with my fingers or install upside down. Very rough.
Is it possible to link the yellow and white connector things in the door? Im struggling to find them
+Danny Mann is it the one that goes on the plastic trim so it fits back in the door? If it's that you can but then from amazon the yellow ones and the white Ines from the dealer because I have seen the white Ines from amazon are different

+car audio solutions it's because of where the hole is for the screw and the wire behind it so I thought I would leave it that's way since I won't be able to see it once the door card is back on
