Dustin, I am so happy for the man who gave you a way wrong total. He's so lucky you're a great human being and actually slowed him down and calculated the total for him! For those who clearly are out to put down others obviously bc they are perfect humans themselves, I wouldn't put in any effort to break it down for them. You and Jess are the GOAT!

Hey man, just want to say digging your videos! People don’t understand how much time and effort goes into reselling. And as for reselling itself, people complain about it but at the end of the day, you’re buying something that someone else in the world is looking for. Something you woke up at 6AM and rummaged through millions of items to find. So that’s my take on it lol

There are 3 kinds of yard/ garage sales. The "get rid of sale", the "downsizing sale" and the "make as much money as you can sale." Clearly Dustin & Jessica have seen their fair share of all of them. I have seen Dustin tell sellers that what they're asking is way too little but you'll never hear him tell them it's too much. He's a gentleman and wouldn't do anything to cause a confrontation. Jessica is still learning the art of haggling and she's really doing well.
Imo, the only people complaining about how they conduct themselves are competition and trolls.

So, I only show sold comps when I pop up ebay listings. It's not guaranteed to sell for that much or to sell at all when I list them. The gentleman is well aware of ebay as he brought it up multiple times. It's near impossible to get ebay prices on something like shirts at a garage sale. It's just not the right venue for it. Overall, I spent a large chunk of change and got some good ebay inventory that will sell eventually. Both parties were happy and that is what really matters at the end of the day.

@@propicker not to mention your time cleaning, testing, time to look up comps, pictures and editing. You and your wife are awesome!! If people want to sell their stuff for eBay or even half eBay prices, they won’t sell a whole lot. If they were that worried about it, they would open their own eBay store and realize how much work actually goes into selling even one item. If they weren’t happy with the prices- they wouldn’t have sold to Dustin. He LITERALLY told him what he does. Why do people have to be so mean and judgmental towards resellers. Literally everyone around you is a reseller- from booths to estate sales, rummage sales, and yes even your grocery stores including Walmart!!
