Teacher here. I used the Dollar Tree wallpaper to cover a beat up old podium in my classroom. It makes me happy every time I walk in my room and see it :)
Confession: when you started putting up wallpaper in tiny frames, I did not get it. It turned out crazy great! Hey that wooden wallpaper would be good around a trash can as well. 😀
I love all the uses for the wallpaper. I recently sold the house my daughter's grew up in. I actually framed the wallpaper like you did and gifted it to them. They got very emotional and it felt so good knowing they'd always always have a piece of home with them.🏠💖
We have old wallpaper/panels in our bathroom and if, in the future, it ever needs to be changed, I want to clean up and keep part of it in a frame. It has hose buggies, trains, and boats.
Our grandkids live 1800 miles away so they've only been here once in the last 4 years. We used the silver dash wallpaper as throw away placemats (kept the backing on them). They wiped clean a few times, then we could just toss them. That beats having placemats we don't need to hang onto.
I did halfway up my back dining room wall in that wood grain and put the plant strip sticker along the top. Looks great! My only to is that if you live somewhere humid, go over it with a blow dryer on the warm setting. It helps it stick. Otherwise, it peels some after a while.
Totally covering my bath and body works candles in the sheet that matches my decor!!! The gallery wall looks so cute. The lamp shade as well. Some new, fresh ideas I hadn’t seen before.
I just did this yesterday! I moved into a rental and we replaced the thermostat but the wall behind it was all messed up. Bought a 5x7 frame from dollar tree and the wallpaper. Covered the wall behind the thermostat and framed it. It looks so cute now!
I love the uses for the wallpaper. I wish it had been available and affordable years ago. With the shelves and shoes, you could also do a different colour for different kids, favourite colours, etc, so when they’re young, it helps them remember where to put their shoes. :)
my favorite is the tropical paper. reminds us of aruba, our happy place! i used it on the back of my wall to wall built in bookshelves. yes, they are even but somehow i wound up misaligning a section and i couldn’t straighten them any which way i tried. left me with a pretty large gap to fill. so… i took colored pencils, and colored in sections where the wallpapers didn’t meet and no is the wiser. sshhhh, don’t tell anyone, lol!
My sister had a cardboard box she uses as a trashcan. She bought the faux wood paper and covered it -- with a bag liner in it, looks like she spent a lot more than $5.00 on it.
Although I haven’t tried them yet, as a doll collector, I like that the wallpaper squares are small enough to use for doll rooms and temporary walls/backdrops (I like to use cardboard tri-boards and foam boards for my temporary backdrops). I’ll have to pick up some of the wallpaper for my doll displays and other crafty DIYs. I’ve used the contact paper for doll walls and floors, and have had some trouble with bubbling since the contact paper is bigger/longer. For the contact paper floors, they had a nice marble look and also a wood floor look. I also use scrapbook paper for my doll displays as well. Another tip-the Scotch brand wall tape is great for taping up small cards and other paper items. While I use tacks in my room, I don’t want to use them in the guest room so the wall tape has been great for adding some small, light decorations to the walls.
I love the videos you are doing on Dollar Tree using 1 item lots of different ways! Like this one and the cooling racks and the napkin and paper towel holders! I haven't seen anyone else taking 1 particular item and using it so many different ways. These videos are my favorites.❤
I have a filing cabinet that needs painting but the idea of emptying it out to do that has made me procrastinate for long time. I think this wall paper will work and actually have a nicer outcome. Thanks for the ideas! You have me thinking now…..❤
I actually just did the same plant wall paper into picture frames a few weeks ago. Just used larger frames instead that were originally for certificates at dollar tree. Turned out pretty well!
Ok - I keep buying these palm leaves wallpaper each time I am in DT. I plan on them being the wall behind my gallery wall in my creative office. However, now I need to make that lampshade! Totaling using that idea for myself! Thanks!❤
I purchased a stack of the antique silver looking tile wallpaper. I'm going to use it to cover some boxes for uniformity. I love the frames you used on the wall.😀❤
Kallie! I have a tip for easy lining up! I used to make books & learned that you can remove one corner of the baking (on the farther side from where you’re working) and line up the other side, then press into place. The one sticky part holds it all in place as you remove & press in the rest. I hope this helps.
OMG! The idea of covering the outside of candles is brilliant! People are always giving me candles as gifts and I love them but they all look different and don't always match my decor. So glad I watched this!
I’ve used the tile ones but not the wallpaper. I used the silver tile behind my stove. It’s been there several months and has not budged. I love how all of yours turned out
I recall back in 1994 I found a wood grain and a floral Contact Paper at DG/FD for like ¢0.50/roll. I did my 3 daughters shared room in my (first owned house) with the wood along the bottom 4' and the floral along the upper to the ceiling. Added trim along the meeting area, it looked great for about 2+ years.
I love the wall peel and stick on the trash can idea...totally doing it. 😁. I also love your bathroom wall. Your right, it really did make a difference... for the better. I also like the idea of the cheap nightstand front transformation. I have a cheap nightstand that was gotten from WalMart years ago. I want to do the back wall behind my stove with the peel and stick tile. Thanks for great ideas. Have a blessed day
My best friend and I both bought that dashboard confessional CD at Virgin records in New York City on a high school field trip. We each put it in our Discman and pressed play at the same time. It was an experience listening to the whole CD on the drive home, freaking out together song after song. LOL.
I love the idea of replacing my boring rental bathroom mirror with a more stylish one. I have a mirror that went with a dresser that isn’t getting any use, I’m going to try it. I also know exactly which Dollar tree wallpaper will go in my bathroom ;D Thank you Kallie!
I used that same leaf wallpaper for a picture in a thrifted frame-turned out great! Then I covered a book with it and glued some twine and a rustic tree house to the front-so cute!
After watching you use the blue and white paper on your wall by your counter I copied it on my wall under my cabinet and extra counter we put into our kitchen. Love love these especially the small frames! I do not like the dark blue and gold one…..we don’t have these in Canada so I had to pick them up when I went down to see the granddaughters! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
I cover notebooks to make scrapbooks with the wallpaper and cover schoolbooks too, but I had to put something under it so I used a different wallpaper and made it reversible. I’ve also used it to cover a couple small tables and things like that. I used to watch you when you were, “But First Coffee.” I was scrolling around RUclips and saw a thumbnail of you and thought… hey! She had another channel that I lost when RUclips went poof on here. Anyway, I’m glad I found you. I found you a few days ago, but now I have subscribed.
My favorites are the two blue ones, the eucalyptus one and the tropical one. My least favorite would be the one she put on the inside of the dresser drawers. I love all of these ideas. I’m wondering how it comes off, does it leave a residue behind??
Great ideas. I am going to do the gallery wall and the wastebasket. When I saw what you did with the plant, it got me thinking about making covers to go over nursery plant pots.
Hello. I love your videos! You do a fantastic job with them! Quick question: I rent an apartment in a complex. Would you happen to know if the Dollar Tree peel and stick wallpaper and tiles are easily removable and don't damage the walls? I don't want to have to pay for damages or lose any of my security deposit? Thanks so much; I appreciate it. Keep up the great work and enjoy your summer! P.S. You have great taste! 😊👍👏
I used some of this paper on my entertainment center. Covered the back behind the shelves and the two doors on the front. My brother thought I had bought a new one. Also covered the door front on my side tables and the shelves on a desk and drawer fronts. Looks great. Thanks for showing the bathroom. That might be next!! 🤗😎😁.
So interesting, about a year ago here in Florida I used the coat closet(never used since it's hot here) and decided to add to the facing wall inside the closet the wood design wallpaper, OMG! What a difference then I put a metal storage shelf and now I have a very usable space for extra foods and top shelf for paper goods. The wall paper made such a difference! Thanks for all the extra ideas!
I usually use removable regular wallpaper and the used the garden eucalyptus $ tree one. I used it on a gray cube I use for plants and when I went to center it more it stuck and took the backing off. I was a little surprised as the regular wallpaper never did. It does look really good though just a pop of color.
I am totally going to use their paper on my trashcan! Brilliant! There are several Dollar Tree stores in my area and not all of them sell the individual sheets but i have seen them in a few. I really like the one with leaves as my kitchen has green accents.
Loved your project Especially the frame, back of shelves and waste basket wrapping. The blue and white pattern is my fave. But get rid of faux plants and get live ones.
I love the eucalyptus wallpaper. I've used it several times for crafts and picture frames. I may use it to line a cureo cabinet as well. I also love the two-toned blue one and am trying to think of a way I can use that as well.
Omgoodness! Girl, you have entertained me today. I watch DIY and the like videos all the time. Singing and dancing! Yes, don't hold it in. I liked, saved, subscribed! Fantastic ideas that I had not seen before.
Hi Kallie. Thank you for sharing your awesome and creative ways to use the DT wallpaper/tiles. You definitely gave me the incentive to do some old dressers and lamps. I'm thinking that I might try putting some of the wallpaper on either my baseboards or mounding. It might look horrible or it might be awesome, lol! I can't wait for your next video.👍🇨🇦💞
Love the lamp shades!!! And Dashboard Confessional brings back all the high school memories! 😊 Hands Down is my favorite song and will be till the day I die!! ❤
You random woman who doesn't use a level and just wings it; I LOVE IT!!! I am the same way :) It drives my husband crazy but it always turns out great! I love all your hacks!!
I like the wallpaper and tiles too. The designs don’t look cheap. I bet they come out with more next year. BTW I ended up not becoming a middle school math teacher because I couldn’t get up that early every day!
Wow!!!! Loved all the things you used to cover with the wallpaper & tile sheets!!! Everything is amazing!! I really hope some day soon, my little bitty Dollar Tree will carry these & all the cool things I’ve seen everyone has used or shown. The store in my town is terrible, nothin new & no plus section😂 Thanks for sharing your hack video & can’t wait to see more soon!!!😊❤
They are cool and seem to be easy to use but I hear they are hard to get off. (At least they should stay on) I think it says it on the package too. But I love them. They look great!!!! I am thinking of buying some…..!!!!👍👍
I'm a crafter and I just enjoy watching others craft! However, I just stumbled upon your video and you kept me intrigued the entire video! Let me just say that's impressive as I have ADHD and focusing for any amount of time on videos is usually really hard! The fact you were jamming out helped! Thank you, this was very inspiring and great content! I'm trying to figure out how to start my channel as I come up with pretty crazy stuff, but it's always spur of the moment and I'm halfway done when I think "I should have totally videoed that! 😂
I wonder how the wallpaper or tiles would work in a bathroom with a show that is used daily. I may have to try it and find out. Thanks for the ideas, tips, and tricks.
Just what I needed to see. I have a hot pink lampshade and it doesn't go in my blue room. I'll be going to DT for wallpaper. I also have a few trashcans that could a makeover
My least favorite is the wood grain, although I have something very similar as a backsplash in my kitchen. I don't care for it, but it matches the kitchen. 🤷🏻♀️ My favorite is the palm tree one. I need to get some of that! I love the geometric one too.
I would hafta say the blue flower paper is my least favorite paper but the sad thing is that I don't like any of it for my space although I would almost make it work for $1.25! Love your Ideas tho for sure 😊
Teacher here. I used the Dollar Tree wallpaper to cover a beat up old podium in my classroom. It makes me happy every time I walk in my room and see it :)
Confession: when you started putting up wallpaper in tiny frames, I did not get it. It turned out crazy great!

I like the framed wallpaper, but I'm even more impressed that you got all those frames to line up so well!

What a wonderful idea!
That was a good idea

Singing, dancing Kallie is so adorable! Love the gallery wall and the lamps! Actually all of the projects are awesome!
AND I love the look of the blue & white tile. I’ve used it inside a rectangular tray; looked great!
I love the uses for the wallpaper. I wish it had been available and affordable years ago.
With the shelves and shoes, you could also do a different colour for different kids, favourite colours, etc, so when they’re young, it helps them remember where to put their shoes. :)
Big caution about those mirrors, ours was also glued onto the wall so was not easily removed without damaging the walls. 💕

I wish you could show us!!!
I'd be interested in seeing that. If only we could post pics on comments 😔
OMG! We use a cardboard box for a trash can too! I never thought of covering it so thanks for the tip. You sound like a great mom.

Great video! Love your channeling of your teen angst and how excited you were about some of these ideas. Fun ideas! Thanks.
Ok - I keep buying these palm leaves wallpaper each time I am in DT. I plan on them being the wall behind my gallery wall in my creative office. However, now I need to make that lampshade! Totaling using that idea for myself! Thanks!❤

OMG! The idea of covering the outside of candles is brilliant! People are always giving me candles as gifts and I love them but they all look different and don't always match my decor. So glad I watched this!

Looooving the way you shared the music you were listening to, danced a bit, sang, etc. great ideas and super fun!
I love the inexpensive wallpaper ideas! Also the fact that you love dashboard confessional too, is another reason why I follow you ❤
I love all of them except the wood grain. The planter was great, but my very favorite is the bathroom wall!!!
I recall back in 1994 I found a wood grain and a floral Contact Paper at DG/FD for like ¢0.50/roll.

New styles out now and they are beautiful...loved watching you...quick and easy to follow DIYS...TFS

The picture montage, covering the picture frame, were my favorites. But all were great ideas.
Love the inner-lined lamp, that is the best wallpaper design they have ever had🥰 ❤🙏🏾
I love the idea of replacing my boring rental bathroom mirror with a more stylish one. I have a mirror that went with a dresser that isn’t getting any use, I’m going to try it. I also know exactly which Dollar tree wallpaper will go in my bathroom ;D Thank you Kallie!

I love the side table and bookshelves with the geometric blue and gold! Love how you covered inside the lampshade and outside!
My favorites are the two blue ones, the eucalyptus one and the tropical one. My least favorite would be the one she put on the inside of the dresser drawers. I love all of these ideas. I’m wondering how it comes off, does it leave a residue behind??
I use the candle co trainers for plants after I burn the candle. I am so going to use this trick for my potted plants! Thanks so much!!!!
Great ideas. I am going to do the gallery wall and the wastebasket. When I saw what you did with the plant, it got me thinking about making covers to go over nursery plant pots.

Hands down this is the best day I can ever remember.
A BANGER.
I love the blue and white title
Covering a candle…brilliant! Thanks for all of the ideas. Very cute!
I bought a few of the ones with leaves to jazz up the concrete walls in my classroom ❤
I have done kitchen countertops with contact paper. Huge improvement and rental friendly.
I used some of this paper on my entertainment center. Covered the back behind the shelves and the two doors on the front. My brother thought I had bought a new one. Palm tree lamp shade is my fav!!! ❤❤
My first apartment $tree had yellow and white thin lattice print. Super cute for the mid '80's.

I just noticed that I did a typo, not "mounding " it was supposed to be "moulding or trimmings "
This is great. I think I'll use this idea on my tea tins (round) to have a coordinating look for display. Love your ideas!!!
love the leafy and geometric..didnt know dollartree had wall paper.
looked great on wall nightstand and that cute lamp
Love the lamp shades!!! And Dashboard Confessional brings back all the high school memories! 😊 Hands Down is my favorite song and will be till the day I die!! ❤
Dashboard Confessional!!! I have been having so many throwback bands coming up for me lately. I am living for it! ❤
You’re so creative, I’ve always wanted to buy the dollar tree wallpaper, but didn’t know what to do with it.
You random woman who doesn't use a level and just wings it; I LOVE IT!!! I am the same way :) It drives my husband crazy but it always turns out great! I love all your hacks!!
I love the green leafy wall paper!!
Okay, now I have to go get some for my tired kitchen backsplash. thanks?
I like the wallpaper and tiles too. The designs don’t look cheap. I bet they come out with more next year.

Love love these ideas but especially the commentary and singing!!
They are cool and seem to be easy to use but I hear they are hard to get off. (At least they should stay on) I think it says it on the package too. But I love them. They look great!!!! I am thinking of buying some…..!!!!👍👍
Cute! I would paint the frame of bathroom mirror.
Very cool. Now I’m gonna try all of them as well. Thanks
What a cute idea to use the wallpaper on the lampshade!
The bathroom looks awesome and high end. Great job and tips. ❤
I'm a crafter and I just enjoy watching others craft! However, I just stumbled upon your video and you kept me intrigued the entire video! I wonder how the wallpaper or tiles would work in a bathroom with a show that is used daily. I may have to try it and find out. Thanks for the ideas, tips, and tricks.
Renter and budget friendly…thanks 😊
That little lamp ❤❤
Just what I needed to see. I have a hot pink lampshade and it doesn't go in my blue room. I'll be going to DT for wallpaper. I also have a few trashcans that could a makeover
I love the wood grain!
My candle jars always got hot to the touch so I'd be nervous about recoating them in something plasticized but all the other ideas are great.
I LOVED these ideas!!! I can't wait to go to Dollar Tree!!
I absolutely loved this video!!!!!!!!!! I’m so inspired but on vacation will watch again when I get home to get reinspired!!!!!
My daughter & I are dying to try these out. Cute ideas but I loved the small frames.
loved the sides of the drawers - so cute! also the grid of frames on the wall!
Great video. I love your personality. Your moods always come through! Cute decoration ideas. I just don’t think I would have the patience.
Covering notebook with wallpaper 👍🍀
My least favorite is the wood grain, although I have something very similar as a backsplash in my kitchen. I don't care for it, but it matches the kitchen. 🤷🏻♀️ My favorite is the palm tree one. I need to get some of that! I love the geometric one too.
you can frame those builder grade mirrors as well. Not permanent but fabulous.
I hate the wood grain one. I love the others. My favs are the navy blue and gold geometric & the tropical.
fun fact: the lead singer of dashboard confessional is from ct!
I would hafta say the blue flower paper is my least favorite paper but the sad thing is that I don't like any of it for my space although I would almost make it work for $1.25! Love your Ideas tho for sure 😊
I like the blue & white wallpaper. All your ideas are great!
Can you put the wall paper on the clear plastic 3 drawer shelves would it work.
