This episode is one of my favorites. I love Loopty, the disguises (especially how well Moxxie pulls off his girl disguise, and the final fight between the imps and the cherubs. However, there is one plothole I feel needs to be brought up: Why couldn't Lipton just use the de-age-ifier again to become young again?
It’s so interesting to hear you say that considering people think this is one of the weaker episodes. Imo after seeing the first two eps of season 2 this episode is actually really good. It’s just typical Helluva Boss antics that I really like
That is a plothole, but I'm willing to handwave it and say that the machine must have broken in the initial accident. No one but the two inventors would have been smart enough to repair it, and Lipton seems like he's too old and feeble to be useful. Looney Tunes logic is definitely in force in this episode (how did IMP track the cherubs from place to place? How did they change disguises so fast? etc.) but at this point the series is still mostly Zany Murder Shenanigans and we can enjoy it without taking it seriously.
It's likely that the company barred Lyle from the De-Age-Ifier to keep him alive. It's bad enough that they lost one of the two founder, so the rest of the staff decided it was in the best interest of their wallets to keep their boss alive for as long as possible now by separating him from the machine that killed his best friend and nearly took him... ... until he keels over himself and a new head of the company can be appointed, that is.
About the topic of Christianity I love how you explained that and I love hearing that your also an LGBTQ Christian that's accepting, it's sadly rare to see it but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one
I like that the group were wearing disguises after getting yelled at by Loona last episode for not wearing any. Also like that Loona was angry Loopty for crashing thru the window instead of using the door, while at the mansion Blitzø crashes thru the window while moxie and Millie use the door.
THANK YOU!!! For bringing up the mistranslation shit!!! I’m polytheistic now, but my entire family is southern Baptist leaning; and no matter how many times I’ve tried to explain that to my dad, he himself was a queer who survived the military in the 80s. The internalized homophobia is so bad, but yeah not enough people bring it up
I’m a Christian and Bisexual and I gotta say your take on Christian beliefs are scarily similar to my own and you’re absolutely right the same “Christians” who go around harassing people for being “sinners” are the worst kind of hypocrites so I felt that … anyway love your content 🥰
I had a great uncle the was southern baptist, deeply closeted and not good at hiding it. I mean I was eight and I knew and this was before someone had tried to clumsily explain it to me. Dealing with him was... Interesting. Let's just say if it's all true we all know exactly where he is.
Exactly. Believe in what you're going to believe in, if someone is open to talking about religion with you by all means share it, but don't force it down other people's throats when they clearly don't want it and definitely don't go out of your way to harass them.

This concerns me in regards to how things are gonna go down in *Hazbin Hotel* -- this episode hints that in this show's universe, Heaven is corrupt It's not fair that the cherubs were kicked out of heaven for unintentionally causing the death of someone *who has experimented on living people* Also, during the C.H.E.R.U.B jingle, there's a poster behind Collin doing paperwork that reads... *Surround yourself with people who will lift you up* *So ditch your loser friends who you can't use* *- God* It seems that in the Hellaverse, God's a real dick
Their actions indirectly caused the deaths of several humans who would still be alive if everyone had just stayed home. Collateral damage from the fight with I.M.P.
It does seem that way. Hazbin has already shown us Heaven thinks genocide is a fine and dandy way to curb overpopulation. The cherubs also think the imps are intrinsically evil and worthless, so Heaven is racist as well. The scene where one of them yells at Blitzo, something about "your kind is nothing but dirt that sinners tread on", makes me a little sad because he doesn't argue and even looks slightly upset/ashamed. I've been starting to wonder if the main difference between hellborn-demons and angels is just where they were born and what they've been taught since birth. We may find out in the course of Hazbin Hotel.
@@meliodas69420 it's making fun of how sever some of the rules are? Hell is overpopulated because the rules are so outdated and just.... No one's getting in. Considering the bible apparently says you can't wear mixed fabrics.... Ya. Gods a dick. Know that's why I'm pagen
3:02 if you remember from the last episode Blizø’s ex says “your sister says hi” and they also mentioned that she was let out of rehab meaning that his twin is indeed in rehab
Note about the imp twins thing: Yes, actually, Blitzø has a twin sister named Barbie-Wire (though this may be her performer name and not her real one, we don't actually know). In the pilot the poster read "The Amazing Imp Siblings" and featured another girl named Tillie. She is still a character in the show who appears later in a photo, though her role and relationship to the twins is a big vague and open to interpretation.
6:14 that’s not a wizard of Oz costume, that’s Rum Tum Tugger from the Cats musical. Blitzo’s clown outfit before was also one of Brandon rogers’ characters, Blah Blah the clown.
11:00 ok I fully agree with Elijah. Christians often make me uncomfortable bc I’ve just met so many that are hateful. I believe that if you are being who you believe you are and you aren’t harming anyone then that’s what God wants. Be happy, be genuine, be good to eachother. That’s what I believe.
11:15 I agree with you Im also a christian and I hate those toxic christians who think that they have the right to judge you They forget that God is love and we need to give love, but this people does the opposite
This episode was a lot of fun. I love all the disguises in this episode. Like, can we all agree that Moxxie looks great as a woman? Also, I hope C.H.E.R.U.B. comes back sometime in the future. It would be fun see the fallen angels try to get revenge on I.M.P. Finally, question: Why didn't Lyle Lipton just reverse the deageifier on himself?
The Deer Angel reminded me of every smug bureaucrat too lazy to get up and defend their co-workers I have ever met/had the displeasure of working with. I just walked away from them cause I can only try so much with them. Fun fact:The female Sheep Cherub and the Boss Deer Angel were voiced by VIVZIEPOP, the shows creator.

OK as a fellow Christian lesbian, now I kinda need Elijah to do a video essay about how Christianity and queerness were never really in conflict, and like she said it was mistranslations and bigotry that led people to that idea. SO many people don't realize that

Tbh your rants and reactions are why I love your channel so much, I still need to watch your gaming content more though because those are just as good! Keep being amazing! 💙
One of the best theories in this universe, in my opinion, is about this episode. We noticed over time that all of the Pride Ring's technology comes from the knowledge of sinners from their time on Earth and then the other demons "plagiarize" things for the other rings. This also relies on weapons technology. So the reason these little angels were trying to stop this old man from killing himself was so he could live long enough for his inventions to benefit more people than they harmed and for him to go to Heaven. For his knowledge they would go to Heaven.
I literally discovered you today and I'm so glad that I get to see your reactions to one of my favorite shows! Point I look forward to seeing your reactions to the rest of this series! Much love! You've got a new fan.

10:52 Interesting. I just figured middle management. Those in the position between the workers and bosses who basically do whatever the boss says while feigning interest in the concerns of the workers
A lot of people say, “god doesn’t respect people who are LGBTQ. It’s a sin” or “God doesn’t love you if your a therian/furry” that’s not true. God wants everyone to be happy and be who themself. It’s really upsetting to see the people that look up to you shame others for being themself
This is technically a spoiler for the next episode, "Harvest Moon Festival," but a minor one with no impact on the main plot, and one I think you would like to know. One of the characters introduced in the episode is canonically trans. See if you can figure out who they are. : P

S1 has something called the big 4 which are 4 important episodes in the season, those episodes are episode 5,6,7,8. Episode 8 isnt out yet due to legal issues however it wasn’t too important to the story, it was more like a celebration for HB’s 1 year anniversary. Episodes 5,6 and 7 however are extremely important, plot wise! There are very important plot points which will be relevant in S2 and even some which then take part in character development for the character in S2 especially Blitzø and Stolas. PS: pay very close attention to any hints in the background in these episodes as well as some little details/moments (ex: a small reaction or a short gesture) especially episode 7. Infact in ep7 there are important hints in the background and very important moments/reactions/gestures which show us a bit on Blitzø’s current mental state and this is very important for S2, as in S2 it’s going to focus a lot on backstories so it may show some explanation to why the characters are the way that they are right now. Even something’s from the Pilot which might have been a joke in there may come back in S2 with more context behind them. To quote Blitzø from the pilot: “are you going to crush my musical theater dreams like my dad did?” For context he meant his circus dreams “cause all I see is my dad’s #sshole talking to me, crushing my dreams of being who I truly am inside” in this moment Blitzø was talking about a performing currier. If you didn’t catch the small detail from the poster in this episode, he used to perform in the circus with his sister Barbie Wire and with Fizz.
Blitz does have a sister. In episode 3 Verosika said “rehab is for sad loser wash-ups. So, your sister says hi.” And according to the context of the sentence, we can assume that Barbie Wire is in rehab.
What's crazy is most of the hateful stuff in Christianity was created by those who simply disagree with certain things. Anything you can think of has been placed as a sin by certain groups. Truth is we most likely will never know what's true or not about it all
I appreciate you talking about being a Christian. I recently came out to my parents who are full on missionaries and they still think being gay is a sin so I've told them to try to see if they can talk to any gay christians out there to see if that can help change their views. I wish I knew what you were talking about with the bible mistranslation thing.
There's a movie coming out hopefully soon called "1946: The mistranslation that shifted a culture" that should explain it. Reality is, language and culture are tricky and a lot of the perspective from biblical times had less to do with gender and more to do with hiearchal status. If you're familiar with the terms top/bottom, one can be translated as more masculine and the other more effeminate. Kinda the point of Jesus was to disrupt hiearchy (Matthew 23:12) and established justice for the poor and the oppressed. Unfortunately, the Roman empire took advantage of certain aspects of it and we got the christianity mess we have today.

I kinda already knew she was Christian because she wears that cross necklace.
@@stephenking5852 I'm not good at noticing tiny details like that so..
Yay, I love seeing more polite and/or gay christians! :D ❤🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I like that the group were wearing disguises after getting yelled at by Loona last episode for not wearing any.
Also like that Loona was angry Loopty for crashing thru the window instead of using the door, while at the mansion Blitzø crashes thru the window while moxie and Millie use the door.
Fun fact: The Angelic Chibi Bambi is voiced by the creator of both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. By VivziePop herself.
In fact: Most of people skipped the ending credit but forgot that this ep is in memory of one of Vivzie's employees or someone's loved one sad.
THANK YOU!!! For bringing up the mistranslation shit!!! I’m polytheistic now, but my entire family is southern Baptist leaning; and no matter how many times I’ve tried to explain that to my dad, he himself was a queer who survived the military in the 80s. The internalized homophobia is so bad, but yeah not enough people bring it up
I actually really like Millie's voice, especially because of the next episode. Episode five definitely shows why they decided to change her voice :)
@@VegetaLF7 exactly… I just don’t understand how some people don’t get this
When Elijah said “I’m a Christian” I just full on yelled “LESSS GOOOOOOOOO”
6:20 “aww their so cute”
Immediately gets eaten by wolves than other crazy stuff happens
My dream is that we'll go one episode without being reminded Millies VA is different.
Legit: I thought if an episode of this show was going to break your brain, it would be this one (& I was worried 6:30!) but INSTEAD, you went deep dive in a good way!! Honestly, this is why you're in my favorites! Thanks for sharing, Friend!✨💖✨
This concerns me in regards to how things are gonna go down in *Hazbin Hotel* -- this episode hints that in this show's universe, Heaven is corrupt
It's not fair that the cherubs were kicked out of heaven for unintentionally causing the death of someone *who has experimented on living people*
Also, during the C.H.E.R.U.B jingle, there's a poster behind Collin doing paperwork that reads...
*Surround yourself with people who will lift you up*
*So ditch your loser friends who you can't use*
*- God*
It seems that in the Hellaverse, God's a real dick
Their actions indirectly caused the deaths of several humans who would still be alive if everyone had just stayed home. Collateral damage from the fight with I.M.P.
Yea that's always been the point. It's making fun intentionally of alot of the sever and hypocritical Christian notions that Elijah pointed out
It does seem that way.
@@animo358 HUH!?
11:15
I agree with you
Im also a christian and I hate those toxic christians who think that they have the right to judge you
They forget that God is love and we need to give love, but this people does the opposite
The cat costumes are drawn from the musical Cats. Blitz: Rum Tum Tugger, Millie: Victoria, Moxxie: Mr. Mistoffelees
Blitzo, Moxie and Millie's outfits throughout this episode were all on point.
10:38 - 12:47 As a Christian, I completely agree with you
This episode was a lot of fun.
Did he mention that it broke?
@@uria3679 I don't think so.
@@DanGamingFan2406 Perhaps it was confiscated by the government and / or shut down

@@brokkolievogorogdinnye8714 I guess that makes sense.
(10:00) Mad respect for the pianist despite all the Looney Tunes-style chaos that ensued in the theater.
Barbie Wire is the sister Verosika mentioned (aka the sad loser wash up) and from what we can tell she is in fact Blitzø’s twin
The Deer Angel reminded me of every smug bureaucrat too lazy to get up and defend their co-workers I have ever met/had the displeasure of working with. I just walked away from them cause I can only try so much with them.
Fun fact:The female Sheep Cherub and the Boss Deer Angel were voiced by VIVZIEPOP, the shows creator.
incredibly late but it just warmed my heart when you were saying you were a christian. i'm a christian who is part of the lgbtq myself and it's nice to see people who are like me, keep up the good work :)
Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead is in the next episode! And that episode is AMAZING!!
OK as a fellow Christian lesbian, now I kinda need Elijah to do a video essay about how Christianity and queerness were never really in conflict, and like she said it was mistranslations and bigotry that led people to that idea. SO many people don't realize that
Exactly.
I love the rant you went on about Christianity, cause it's true. So many "devout Christian/Catholics" end up being hypocrites and that's just very infuriating to me, speaking as a Catholic anyway. Tbh your rants and reactions are why I love your channel so much, I still need to watch your gaming content more though because those are just as good!
Keep being amazing! 💙
"Betty Boop" defaulted into being recognized toon category instead of the original adult genre she was meant for.
R.I.P. FLUFFY BUNNY.... YOUR WERE TOO CUTE FOR THIS CRUEL WORLD OF HELLUVA BOSS 😢
No matter how many times I watch the playlist the rant she goes on makes me happy it’s so true.
You’re actually really lucky most of us had to watch each episode as they come out
I almost wish I’d put off watching this show so I could binge it
One can say the Cherubs were…
Locked out of Heaven. 😏
10:09 And that, my friends, was cartoon logic at its finest! 😂😂😂
6:20 reminds me of the "that's the cutest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life...." clip😅
7:44 blitzø looks like his sister Millie is beautiful as always and moxxie.. MOXXIE SLAYS

Welcome aboard! 😄
The sheer torture of waiting 2 weeks for these videos is so worth it. Love ya Elijah!
I work at a B&N which has taken on a lot of new customers since a local Christian bookstore closed.
Both the best and the worst customers frequent that section.
Elijah being a Queen as Usualllll
11:48 I appreciate you so much Elijah!! I’m a Christian as well and I hate the loud minority that spew this kind of hatred. The God I know loves everyone ❤
Fun fact Keene and the Deer Cherub are voiced by Vivzie. And, as a Christian myself, I do not accosiate those Christians as well. Never noticed that.
This is technically a spoiler for the next episode, "Harvest Moon Festival," but a minor one with no impact on the main plot, and one I think you would like to know. One of the characters introduced in the episode is canonically trans. See if you can figure out who they are. : P
omg I am also a queer Christian and I agree with everything. my parental figures are... well they are like 'how you explained it before' and have never will come out to them so it's nice to see more gay Christians lmao
Hello I know I don't know you but I hope you'll find some good allies to be around remember you're worth it >:D 🏳️🌈
As a fellow Christian and a fellow 💅 I frickin love this!!!!!!!!!!! You just gained a new subscriber
Yes, Blitzø is indeed a twin! Her name is Barbie Wire and she's the sister Verosika mentioned as being "in rehab for sad loser wash-ups."
It’s so funny when we get to see the characters viv voice acts and it’s just all fun. The little deer cherub at the end is her
Omg that Christian rant you had I a hundred percent agree cause I'm related to judgmental Christians and its agony cause I'm forced to live in the closet well only in the house at least but still even though I'm an atheist cause all the crap my parents made me go through I'm so happy there are Christians like you in the world who can shut those fakers up thank you 🖤
Blitz does have a twin sister. Her name is Barbie Wire. They actually “mentioned” her last episode
I'm an atheist but I do respect others peoples religion. How ever if you use that religion to hurt others, then I don't have any respect for those people.
6:19 Omg, Elijah turned into the "That's the cutest f***ing thing I've ever seen in my entire life... 😭😭" meme for a moment lmao
I just realized that at the beginning the TV said 666 news and that’s from Hazbin Hotel and when I watch this episode, I hadn’t seen anything about Hazbin Hotel so I didn’t know but now I know and I think it’s really cool
I like how Loona got on everyone's ass for not wearing disguises in the last episode so in this episode they started wearing them almost everywhere they went. Nice touch Viv!

The C.H.E.R.U.B Commercial has some interesting details in the background.
2:50
Recall Verosika's words: "Rehab is for loser wash-ups, so your sister says hi."
This is late but yes I believe he has a twin sister which is who was referred to when Verosika said “Your sister says hi”
Fun fact: vizziepop/Vivienne actually voiced deerie herself
So, your sister says hi.” And according to the context of the sentence, we can assume that Barbie Wire is in rehab.
great vid-ya elijah, great reaction. Justice for Moxxie and the fluffy bunnies
Fun Fact, The yellow sheep and the deer angel are both voiced by Vivienne Medrano, aka Vivziepop herself.
I always look forward to seeing her react to this. THIS SERIES IS RLLY GOOD ‼
MOXIE LOOKED GOOD IN THE PURPLE DRESS with jacket

i just noticed that blitzo's sister's name is a play on the word barb wire
7:27: I knew you were gonna love this scene. 😆
6:42 that's Rum Tum Tugger from the original cats he's dressed up as. Didn't see the movie but liked the old play
Anyone else got reminded of thst meme wit the streamer saying “that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever fucking seen” and then I dies 😂
What's crazy is most of the hateful stuff in Christianity was created by those who simply disagree with certain things. Anything you can think of has been placed as a sin by certain groups. Truth is we most likely will never know what's true or not about it all
8:24
Not to mention
Pretty much every character in a Opera dies...
So yeah maybe not best for someone wishing death. xD xD
10:24 It's actually vivzy's voice (the deer)
That deer lady sounds and acts so much like the Vancom Lady from Madtv and I love it!
His sister is named Barbie Wire. 😂
Amazing Name
Sounds like Barbed wire 😂
you made a valid point, and thank you finally someone said it and pull in a way that point that out and in a non-hostile and non-aggravating way
Both female cherubs were voiced by Vivienne herself
*Elijah liking Millie’s,Moxxie’s and Blitzo’s look*
Me:”I wonder if she likes Millie’s voice now..”
Elijah: “Still don’t like Millie’s voice.”

That's a great detail. Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie are wearing disguises because Loona called them out in the last episode.
