Davy Was Sure a Great Overall Showman , as He Could do it all. Sing , Dance , Make You laugh , Act and always Adorable.❤ RIP Davy You Worked Hard to Make Your Name in The Musical Industry.
This really touched me. I can’t stop crying. It was so beautiful going back in time for one moment. Love to Davey And the fans for bringing this back to life
@@robertmauro2230 That's wonderful! I wish I had been there early enough to mingle and get a photo. I have a friend who lives in Indiantown, FL. She says he frequented the restaurant she waitresses at, and he's so very nice and down to earth.
Peter, who played at least 11 instruments and wrote a symphony which an orchestra played, was amazed at how effortlessly Davy picked up instruments. He played percussion, drums, bass and organ.
I'm 72 and was in love with Davy Jones. I miss him so much. The Monkees are and always will be my number 1 band. Miss all of them. Mickey is still going as far as I know . I saw Davy in Cincinnati Ohio, in blue ash. I couldn't get close enough.
Thank you Robert for this video..this video brings tears to my eyes but also makes me smile because davy loves singing for all his fans...will always love davy
I was a great Monkees fan when they first started, I was 16, and still love them. My special one was always Davy, he was handsome, great singer, dancer, & actor. Love you forever, RIP
My mother grew up watching the Monkees and listening to their music and would take me to see him every year. He was one of the coolest musicians I've ever met. RIP my friend.
I truly miss what a great person, and a wonderful family man! He is truly a beautiful example of what is possible with the entertainment business as a human being he is truly a very giver soul! Love ❤️ to Davy Jones!
You are right he was a very giving person and always had time to talk to his fans. I had the pleasure of meeting him 10 or so times and each and every time he would stop and talk. He is very much missed.
i was a child in the 80s, but i grew up with The Monkees in reruns on WKCH 43 weekdays during several summers. I hated when school would start back cause id miss all the classic reruns that would always run at 1 p.m. when i was in elementary school, but it made a Monkee fan out of me nonetheless. Now i have the great opportunity to own the only 2 seasons on dvd, but Davy was my favorite. Long live a little guy with a big heart.
Davy amazed me in my youth watching reruns of the Monkees, again amazed in his Brady Bunch appearance in my youth, then again at Disneyland in 1975 or 1976 with Mickey & TOmmy Boyce, then finally at a 1996 Del Mar Fair appearance with Mickey, & Peter, many great memories.
Davy was so down to earth and so humble to go out in the audience and to actually meet his many fans that came to the show. He was so gifted and he put on a wonderful show. There just are not people like this anymore. The music was so good and so well written. God Bless Davy In Heaven.
Davy wasn't just a singer in a group, he was an entertainer. Singing, dancing, joking and connecting to his audience. Peter Noone's concerts likewise. These groups today, they won't be touring in 30-50 years. RIP Davy!
Allan Stuart well put. Davy was one of the best entertainers I've had the pleasure to have seen. There was a time when Peter Noone was afraid of his audience because when he was younger the girls would jump on stage and attack him so for a long time he had trouble connecting with his audience but has since out grown those fears and he is also an awesome enyertainer.
I was at this show, and Davy was adorable, and amazing. Loved every minute of it. He is my fave Monkee, and always will be. I'm glad to say that this man was my friend. And I miss him dearly , now that he is in heaven. He was such a wonderful man, and person, a loving Husband and father & friend.
I listen to Davy everyday..he will have my heart forever...Davy I will love you forever..there are only a couple of entertainers that even come close to Davy and they are Elvis, Glen Campbell but Davy will always have a special place in my heart....the most caring, loving, gentle man that loved everyone...I hope he is finally at peace and singing with the angels and I hope to see him soon..Davy I will never stop loving you
What a talented and beautiful man he was,..and he only lived a short distance from me. Just wish I could've got to see him sing!,.. sleep well now Davy,...you gave your fans so much on stage!
I saw him at the Turning Stone Casino in 2012 two weeks before he died, I talked with him briefly and he signed his first album David Jones from 1965.He told me this will be available on cd now, I also had a picture taken with him and I have met the other Monkees and saw them perform. Davy always gave back to his fans may he RIP. Thank -You for posting a great video from Disney World.
@@ozziewarrens8804 Was he out of breath or sluggish, the kinds of things that can indicate heart problems. Or did he just seem normal. He was a pretty high energy performer.
@@Mr.56Goldtop - He did appear slightly overweight. But many of us over 55-60 put on weight due to decreased hormones. People around him said he was heavily stressed over his 3rd wife. She treated him badly, even physically beat on him.
So enjoyed Davie in this concert Davey Jones and one of my favorites was Valerie and he can still sing Valerie really really well it was one of my favorites never forget Davey he's always in my heart!
Davy was 63 here - he looks way way younger then his age -- he had so much vitality, energy - poor guy had severely clogged cardiac arteries but did not know it - he really loved fans and he was a great people person who just enjoyed peoples company -- he was an everyman with great talent, charisma and was compelling - taken way too soon -- shame -- God Bless Davy may he RIP
You're so right! I'm STILL upset with his doctors..how could they miss such a serious condition??! The morning of his passing, he thought he was having bad heartburn. This is tragic...😥😥😥
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him terribly..he will forever have my heart..Davy I will love you forever..he was the kindest, sweetest ,caring man that had so much love to give but was never given the love he deserved

His very young wife ( she looked 17, honest) fed him Mexican food and he put on weight. She expected to get famous off of him. It didn’t happen. She split against his wishes for Spain to be part of a dance troop. He went on tour with the Monkees. He was very upset about it. He had a massive heart attack and died.
PS I didn't know his young wife did that to him and then left them how horrible of her may he rest in peace and may she get the, that she deserves the karma she deserves
They lived apart and had not been married that long. She lived in his florida condo and he lived on his horse farm. I dont think they saw each other much.
Ikr?! She was a gold digger & wanted to be a famous singer. I felt sorry for Davy when I read information about his wife. He deserved SO MUCH MORE than her!! Hope I never see or hear of her ever again.

One of the most fun concerts we saw at Epcot. Davy was a great entertainer, sad he was lost too soon...
The idol of my teenybopper days. And now I’m 70. Some things in your heart never really die…
Same here...I'm 68, and I still can't believe he's gone. He had such a kind heart. Can't believe Micky is the only surviving member...🥺
My first crush and my first love of a pop rock band
Yes, I'm 68 and remembered my days loving Davy as a 12-year-old
