If I remember, Regata has a setting that you need to change to get access to add stuff to the panel. But it has been so long since I tried Regata that I can't remember where it was.
Thanks TruckFarmer! You inspired me to poke about in the settings category of the launcher menu and I stumbled across an app called Max-Q. The Max-Q settings has a "Lock Widgets" toggle button. It is on by default. Just switched it to "off" and all access is restored. 👍👍

Jack, you are a funny guy. "Wow, cool, great, amazing, bummer ..." I think the only one you missed is "groovy". Your sense of humor is infectious to the point where I gotta wear a mask when I view your videos. Seriously tho, love your presentation style. After trying out half a dozen distros, I settled on KDE Neon with Plasma 6. Working nicely for me. Plasma seems like it has a few issues with stuff not installing (various Settings like windows stuff). But Regatta OS looks pretty awesome. If I get into gaming, it will be either Regata or Garuda or another gaming-focused distro. Want to do a comparison?
Thanks! KDE Neon with Plasma 6 is a smart way to go. Given that it's basically the KDE playground, one would probably experience the least amount of growing pains there. Neon is seriously groovy! 😉
Very bad font rendering. Maybe check it first before showing us the OS next time please😉 You need to logout, not always though but I always did just to be sure, when applied another theme. You chose purple, but the folders are pink🤔
Very awful distro security wise. Home repositories with no key signing, no autorefresh. Mix of Leap and Tumbleweed repositories. Recipe for disaster for sure. Jack, please do real reviews beyond the amazing wallpaper or nice looking store.

None of them. They aren't serious software. Go with mainstream ones.
