41 years and still going, absolutely brilliant rendition of one of my favourites
Have 32 different CD's and 13 DVD's. There are still amazing like they were back in 1989 and 1992 when I saw them Live and got their Autograph's. Amazing Group will always love them! Love the lights on Mark Kings Bass guitar.
I agree. Mark's luminous bass looks great on stage.
2021. Still grooving
SUPER!!! EINE PHANTASTISCHE BAND ÜBER VIELE JAHRE !!! EIN TOTALES HIGHLIGHT!!! DANKE!!!
Greetings from Kansas City! Love this song! Proudly, I am the grandson of a Kansas City Bread Man - it’s as close as it gets!
Fantastic...One of the strongest bands ever, fantastic drummer, Mark King is from another planet, the rest of the band would like them as my best friends.Th y for all
This is great. It sounds like the version on Physical Presence. One of my favourite songs of all time.
Love to watch Mr King's bass playing, singing, and gum chewing.
Great band!!
Really good on the drums there. Living up to Phil's legacy.
Mindblowing… this song drives me nuts and gives me Wings... thanks Mark ! Keep going mate !
Yes, The Bass line and the harmony that they create is a really amazing thing. You can literally Fly with Wings while listening to them. No other band sounds like this!
So he plays bass, sings AND chew gum = Most impressive !
Not only that - sometimes he also wears aviator shades.
He's THAT cool.
One of the most underrated bands ever. No doubt. Really great. My favorite band to listen to by far.
The typical song that sounds simple, but it`s really hard to play with that flow on the groove and specially with those arrangements. Superb.
On headphones that bass still sounds perfection.
Great great great music!
Still sounding good in 2019
In 2020 (4)2😉
In 2020 (20)3😉
Always thought this was a hidden gem. Loved the throbbing bass line
Brilliant tune
Hi Natalie. Did You used to have anything to do with the Fan Club back in the day?
The drummer👍👍👍👍
On fire and on point.
Pete Ray Biggin. He also plays with Incognito. He’s brilliant.
Great band amazing musicians Mark King is a pioneer I love Level 42
Great chap on the drums groovey
Uuh! Physical Presence on heavy rotation on my turntable 'in those old days', thanx for your fantastic songs (and bass-playing)!
Physical Presence Live in Concert or, On the turntable is a journey into heaven for sure.
Larry Long But who was that guy with that whistle almost ruining that album
Recording ?
Fenomenale Mark King e grandi Level 42
brilliant song!
Timeless❤
Without Mike Lindup, no Level 42. Impulse and impact by using keyboards at the right time. And melodies surrounding Mark's play. Real tangible presence and real stories with minimal notes, combined like pearls.
True Mate. Wasn't the same when Mike wasn't touring.
Mike is here anyway…
Love how it's got just a sprinkle of "The Sun Goes Down"'s intro haha
Really enjoyed watching this. 👍
Simply on another level!! Mark King Singing and playing bass live is just as good as the album ...And his band is completely airtight... Excellent sound engineering and mixing!!!
This song has a lovely middle section, the open e ,i would love to hear it four times around instead of twice
My first Level 42 Album was "Level 42". My first g to see them was Rock City Nottingham but I thought there is no way they can reproduce that sound LIVE.................HELL they did and it was fantastic and every L42 gig I've been to has been excellent........PA sound, vocals and musicianship etc chuffing great. Love you guys loads and thanks for the music.
Oh wow!! What a funky rendition. Just awesome!!
what a bass sound!!
One of the best bands ever! But they only got credit for a couple pop songs, once they conformed.
And they STILL kick ass !!!!!
@@michaelb.42112 Too right they do!
Brilliant 😎😎👍👍👍
Great drummer
Peter Ray Biggin was (and still is) a superfan of the group, who idolised original drummer Phil Gould and is strongly influenced by Phil's playing. Pete is also a terrific drummer in his own right, though.
@@stephenalanmoore7278 Thank you so much.
@@cham397 My pleasure.
Adore,😍😘😎
A door? Oh I see a door to a past age
when Jazz Funk could of taken over the world. 👍😁
God Damn .... I saw them a couple of years a ago in Brum ... If they had played this then ... I could died happy ;)
They are playing it on the current tour.
They have just announced new tour dates for 2023, so why not check out their official website to find out whether any of them will be near you?
Prima datā am avut sansa sā-i vād live la München prin1980 Aceasi magie !O drsgoste pînā la moarte si dincolo de eaBāiatul meu se numeste Mark si cîntā la bass destul de bine cu toate cā este medic de urgente

If this song don't "groove ya"............then
"U ain't hooked up right"!!!!!
Únicos!!!!!
Anyone with lights on their bass guitar, has to be good...Mark King is so good, as are all of the band.
Enorme!
So psychedelic !

Nice, haven't heard KC Milkman live before now. Used to play that one a lot on my ole vinyl copy of True Colours back in the day. Think it's got a nice groove going on. Makes me think of Stanley Clarke for some bizarre reason, tho I suppose it doesn't really sound like him, haha! Oh well, thanks very much for sharing! :)
Oh, just dug out my old 'A Physical Presence' live double album today for the first time in many years. I'd completely forgotten this song was on it, and what a fine live album it is.
Great live album that eh. Great Band. Stanley was a tad handy too eh?. Have a Cracking Weekend Mate.
The entire 'Physical Presence' album is still available to buy on a remastered double CD from 2000 and includes all thirteen tracks that were on the original vinyl and cassette editions.
The first CD version from 1985 had three songs missing for timing reasons, as it was only issued on a single CD.
THIS SO RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone who is still sorry for Phil having left, listen to Pete’s pocket on this one.
Agreed. Pete is a monster but who wouldn't love to see Phil back with the boys? Shame We'll never see the original Fab 4 back together. My 1st Level gig was 88 so unfortunately I'll never see the proper boys live. Still a sublime live band though as this video proves. Cheers Mate. 👍
😊😊
Good Bass
Number one bass player in the world is Mark King a distant second is Sting followed by Billy Sheehan.
dhat baseline
Twin brother plays guitar?
JohnLoydon younger brother
Nathan King is a full ten years younger than his big bro.
Mike sings the chorus better .. Mark should leave that part to mike. Apart from that, amazing song and true colours the album it came off is outstanding
Please someone tell me what this song is about ?Is it about a serial killer ?
I appreciate this is a comment from months back, but just in case you never got an answer, or for the benefit of anyone else who's curious...
'Kansas City Milkman' is an occasionally used term for somebody who simply swallows everything that comes through the news media without question. At least, that's the context in this song. I've also heard it used to describe someone who's generally just a bit on the unintelligent side.
Sea bass
Soz. Not as good as the original
WTF does that mean? Not as good as the record version? Get a musical education then start posting sensible comments you div.
Mindblowing… this song drives me nuts and gives me Wings... thanks Mark ! Keep going mate !
