The prejudice organization quit on the team by not trying to develop him. Right before he suffered his last injury a few weeks ago, he was already hobbling, and then the very next play, the coach called a qb run that put him for the rest of the game. Yeah, they really want to see the black guy win.
It was a mistake for the Colts to draft him #4 overall after he did nothing at Florida. We all know why he was drafted there. When are these GMs going to stop paying these "dynamic athletes" and start drafting real pocket passers again? I could have told you that Anthony Richardson was lazy, entitled, and wildly inaccurate.
Yeah people get way too enamored with the 2-3 'electric' plays the athleticism can give a game and brush off the other 85% of the game where they struggle to handle basics. Not every player can be immediately 'coached' to fix fundamentals that they should have been learning for years before, because they've been able to get away with their raw talent at other levels.
It's like this, we're getting old & guys (especially on WRs) are coming up on the bag so if you want to develop Ant then make moves for picks to get young or take your shot, no matter how far that target is away

People are acting like they’re gonna kill his confidence when in reality he seems a bit complacent and overly confident, he needed this wake up call. He’s just not improving at the rate you want to see. His passing numbers stink. He should be sitting.
Why do people think letting him play means he is going to become good all of the sudden, I mean it’s more often than not they dont, not saying he won’t but the odds are against him, why not live in the present and try to win games now and let him grow behind the scenes, they should’ve done that to begin with
The rookie pay scale made things change. Now you cant develop a guy for years and then unleash him on the world. You have to get success quickly, gms and coaches are linked to a qb even more now than they were before.
I’m sure the goal is to satisfy the team. You might not believe they can win the chip, but I’m sure the people in the locker room want to believe there’s a shot for them to win. I don’t believe they’ll win, but if I was in that locker room-I’m playing to win.
It's fairly obvious the head coach was going to lose the locker room continuing to play Richardson. Dude was very raw coming out of college, the Colts reached, and he should have sat. Pulling himself from the game is also something I've never seen in my lifetime, it looks very bad. If you're going to start a young QB there has to be progress along the way even if you aren't winning a ton of games, and it seems Richardson has either regressed or not made much progress since being drafted.

Mitchell Trubisky was extremely hyped up for his "development" potential, and already had a better prospect rating than certian other QBs, and is now seen as a joke because he legitimately got worse the more reps he got. I cant even blame it on him, because his situation was godawful, horrible o-line, worse wrs in the league (none of them from his first 2 seasons were still in the league when he left the bears), and coaching that SUCKED. Why is it suddenly a death sentence to sit and learn when we have examples like Love and Mahomes that show rushing raw rookie qbs isnt a good idea. Heck, a single game hasnt been played since AR was benched and theres already 30 videos from ESPN on how his career has been ruined by the colts...
