I first time uploaded few with my family and I were in doubt about that. I have deleted. It was in full Abaya and head scarf. Thank you for guiding me. I needed that and every muslim lady needs that.

Women wears hijab and niqab for the sake of Allah s.w.t ..To hide their beauty from Na-Mehram. If a woman wears hijab but make reels and videos that get attention of male's so I don't think so that hijab is beneficial for her if still she's attracting men.

1. When you say covering our face is not farz, that clearly means we can go to market and other public places without covering our face right?
2. On the other hand you are saying we must not upload our pictures even in hijab on social media because non mehram will see it .
🚫My confusion is how these two point can go along? I mean if we can reveal our face in a market where non mehram men are present then what changes when it comes to social media?
It's a request to @Dr Zakir Naik and @Huda Tv to please answer my question.

On social media, men can take time to look at you, think things and all. While in real world it's not or less the case. That's what I once heard and agree. Hope that helps.
@Tahmid Alpha12 Women have a very special place. You can't always say that the same applies for men. Although it's true for most things, men usually have more freedom on this (as long as it's within religious rules of course!). Prevent yourself from giving any ruling that can put others into sins, you will be judged for that. When you have doubts, just don't do it. Nobody needs social media exposure.
It’s very simple sister. If you go to a market wearing only hijab , and if some random non-mehram observes you in an inappropriate manner that will be for a short term, means he would do that only when you’re physically available in front of them . Now it’s on them after you leave the place, weather they imagine you or forget you.
But imagine if you post your pictures (in hijab) on social media , and the same person from the market finds you then it’s definite that he will save it or misuse it in every way possible .

in my opinion with that logic if uploading photos of hijabis is haram then looking at women is just haram in general and that makes no sense
when you post on instagram for example men can save it, masturbate, etc. In public however, he only sees you in the short time you are in the same place and then forgets you. Also men and women are very different scientifically, hormonally, psychologically etc men have more frequent and itnense sexual urges etc so posting online is fitnah

pictures of human beings and animals is haram in general and those who produce them ( painting, photographs, statues etc) will be asked at judgement day to give them life if they want to escape hell fire Which obviously they will not be able to. pictures of natural things trees etc are allowed. it's all in sunnah and that make sens, pictures ouf ourselves trigger our ego and make us focus on dunya (beauty, children, comfort,travels, memories.. anything basically). So it's not a man thing or a women thing it's a Muslim thing. your children should not have access to social medias and have this habit of taking pictures if you want it to be really far from sins. it's look super hard to apply but it's our occidental way of life which makes it hard. In lot of part of the world, people don't know what is Instagram and never took a single picture especially the older generations and they're perfectly fine. May Allah grant us ease ( I'm a convert and I was a photographer it was a hard thing for me to accept too but now I'm in peace Allhamdulillah)
Men and Women have been created differently, if you are teaching islam to your children.this is something you teach them that they are not like the other. Rulings may vary on some things based on the way we are created. Men on instagram and women on instagram even if they are both modest are not the same thing,
Your teaching them incorrectly. Men and woman are equal in the way that they both have equal worth and value but the rules and roles are not the same. The man is different from the woman. A mans awrah is from his navel to the knee. While a womans awrah is her entire body and the hands,feet and face are an issue of dispute

I suppose, Its more to do with intention since in public men in general lower their gaze and usually you are at least when it comes being free and open. You are with mahram or people who you know you are more comfortable with them. But I suppose its more about intention there's more degenerates in social media and its a more hmmm enticing and easy to look at people for wrong intention in the platform, also people are more inclined on commenting and sliding in your dms when they see your picture compared lets say an illustration they may know you are female but when they see a female every female knows the flood of fools that follow. So in the aspect of resting oneself and resting ladies is a explanation. But i think it depends. Like you have to see if you are following the fundamentals and based on that i believe Dr gave the answer. Allah knows best I am simply trying to answer or help you see it from his angle or a different angle besides we all have the internet and translation now, to understand our religion and ask others. I'm no scholars and i am sure most aren't here so we cant give a decisive opinion thus Allah knows best. I hope i was able to clear or aid in any way.
If a woman is going out of the house for walk or for grocery or any other kind of work could be a reason and her intentions are pure so why not and if that woman make an instagram account and upload her pictures in abaya or hijab so what is the reason of uploading those pictures? of course attention, if she wants attention from people from na-mahram then why would she bother to wear hijab or abaya. I am sure you have understood my point
@@dreamer899 there can be other purposes like posting picture so that ppl can recognize u as a person and u can be hired for eg if we talk about a Islamic actresses if she uploads her picture with her team or crew members to promote her drama if she doesn't upload her photos nobody will know her .

I mean it's a sin when you are trying to show yourself off by posting yourself on social media but people get attracted to men's and women's so why is it only Haram for girls?
That's because women are created beautifully . Even if we say some guys are attractive, women are strong unlike men who are weak and give in to their desires easily. This is how human nature works for both genders . Besides ,the general guideline for lowering gaze is for both man and woman. Allah knows best.

Wellahi this is something that need to be seen very seriously 'cause there are so many muslim women's that posts different kind of videos on social media with showing there face and this is not right.
As Aisha(may Allah love her work) said "when we we at the Haijj with Rasul Mohammed(S.A.W) we used not to were niqab and instead when non_mahrim comes we used to cover our face with our hijab" also islam mostly recommended for a women to cover her face when there is a non_mahrim around her inorder to save herself and other brothers from fitna.
If islam says such things in such small area then what about showing our face in a media where there could be a more than a million mens (non-mahrim) watching her and being a fitna for them.
I know most women's post videos in order to teach something good but we can do that without showing our face cause this is not something that we can be careless,we are going to be asked in the hereafter so....

Neithertheless I wouldn't use the strong word haram either since we must have a prohibition in the Quran or the hadiths but it's best to avoid things that cause unnecessary fitnah, both sisters and brothers. Yes a women should wear hijab at all times except at places like house where only her mehrams or women can see her . Elsewhere woman is not allowed to remove hijab at any cost .Posting a picture without hijab that includes not covering ur hair ,neck,hands till wrist is prohibited. However Dr Zakir Naik is saying that there is a contradiction between 2 groups of scholars regarding posting a picture on social media with hijab (covering ur hair,neck,hand).However posting picture with niqab is permitted
I have been seeing lots of new hijabi women lately, who don’t celebrate children’s birthdays and what not. Yet, the same women posts multiple pictures of themselves with makeup on in social media like Facebook, where they are friends with non mehram, who can see these pictures. So hypocritical!
