- In this week's episode, Jayme heads to Silver Dollar City's Bluegrass and BBQ Festival. This is a yearly festival at SDC that usually starts in late Spring and ends close to the beginning of Summer.

I like BBQ Chicken, as long as it's well done. Then depending on the kind of BBQ Sauce. Plus I would like to have a glass of unsweetened ice tea to drink and a funnel cake with vanilla ice cream.
BBQ sauce is suppose to bring out the flavor, so don't over do it. I want to see my BBQ Chicken breasts and wings.
All of that sounds great to us. One of our son's favorite foods is funnel cake.
I like my BBQ sauce on the side so I can dip the perfect amount. I am a dry rub fan, with a lite sauce glaze/buff on the grill. More Memphis style than Kansas City style. But when in Missouri, do as the Missourian's do.
I love this comment lol. Jayme and I are both Missourians born and raised, but we disagree on BBQ style. I am very much the KC style kind of guy and she is more of the Memphis style. So I get it. I just love the "But when in Missouri, do as the Missourian's do" comment. Thank you for watching and commenting!
BBQ sauce can enhance the flavor, but should never be used to cover up iffy meat. The meat HAS to be good first. They change the visiting bands often enough that you could go twice a week and see new bands every time all through the Bluegrass and BBQ Festival.
You would fit right into our household. Paul grew up like a lot of people from the Ozarks..... Meat and potatoes were pretty much every meal. Paul loves pretty much all types of barbeques.

@@BransonFamVlog I grew up in the country and we always had potatoes and gravy with our meats (chicken, pork, beef, squirrel, & rabbit). NO potatoes and gravy with fish
