I like silver dollar city better, with that said not only is it better it doesn’t break the bank to take the family there. Disneyland/DisneyWorld keep raising their prices to where it’s too expensive for a lot of people to afford.
Crossing everything that we will see him and jen put out some soon and do another surprise trip like last year, and that you guys went together all sneaky like
I love when he razzed you about no photographs lol!!! Love the warm, folksy feel of SDC, it's a place I definitely want to visit! I could sit and listen to the band in that cozy room all day! Love it!
Adam the Woo, NOBODY is more thorough covering a topic or a location than you are. I enjoy all of your videos, and after viewing them I know immediately whether I want to put that place on my bucket list, or not... I salute you, the *one and only* Mr. Woo.🤗😎 MUST add Silver Dollar City to the 👍list.
Thank you for visiting my favorite place on Earth. I hope you enjoyed it. It was also an unexpected pleasure to run into you there. Thank you for your kindness to your fans and taking time to talk to me. Safe travels, Mr. The Woo.
Moody’s Ozarks Traveler, Adam was in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN the week before, so my family and I were tuned in watching his videos and checking his Instagram and Facebook. I also tried to watch all the videos and livestreams of vloggers that were there with Adam, such as NTL Vlogs (one of my favorites I watch all the time anyway). I believe I first heard Adam was going to Branson next when Michael said it on NTL Vlogs. He said it was not a secret because Adam posted it on Facebook. I looked there and confirmed it. Adam posted on Nov 16. Later that night, my hubby was looking at Adam’s Facebook and told me he was going to Branson.
OMG OMG *OMG!!!* YOU FINALLY DID IT!!!!! I am screaming with excitement before I even WATCH this video.... I grew up at this park.... when it was just Marvel Cave and a couple of shops and entrance was free! This means so much to me....... now.... off to watch Adam in SILVER DOLLAR CITY!!!!!!
Love this video! I've been going to Silver Dollar City since I was a baby. I proposed by the big tree, got married in the wilderness church, and even had the homestead pickers play during our wedding. Such a special place. Glad you had fun and I hope you go back in the future. I'll be there again in a few weeks.
If you would like another tiny piece of the place info.. my 2 kids are descendents of the Caseys of the Casey's cabin where the pickers play. One of the cousins is named Casey. The last name was lost by marriage of their great grandmother who my son knew when she was still alive.
@@19brandon66 Yeah there is always something to see if you don't want to ride anything. Lots of handmade crafts and good food. Have you ever been to Holiday World? It's about half the price of SDC and it gets you in two parks, no parking fee, all drinks are free and meals are cheap. That might be my vote for best value but I do love SDC.
Branson is one of my FAVORITE Christmas destinations! They have so much of the Holiday Spirit & it radiates cheer! Now you’re making me want to visit Silver Dollar City for A Very Merry Christmas! If you’re able you should visit Mel’s Hard Luck Diner in Branson! Such a fun time! ❤️🎄👍🏻
Am I too old school in that I am not in Christnas mode until at least Thanksgiving ? Though since its Adam the Woo, I always embrace all of his zany adventures.
You do such a great job of showing blacksmiths at the amusement parks you go too. I would love to have a job like that where I could just build things all day. Thank you Adam!!!
Finally, you made it to SDC! The best time of the year to go. Did you know that five episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies were filmed there? In one, Granny jumps off the balcony of the old hotel/ice cream parlor.
TheDailyWoo It use to play in the first building you walked in. Next to where the Marvel cave line is. They had those episodes for sale too. I haven’t checked the last couple of times I’ve been to see if they still do.
I love branson and silver dollar city I live about 5 hours from branson. I remeber when i was young back in the 70s it use to be free to get in. besafe carolyn from kansas
I was just there Sat night. Record crowd 28,000. It was crazy but fun. Just nice to be out with so many having a good time. Truly the happiest time of the year. Great video
Some of those pieces look pretty darn familiar! If not, they are for sure Osborne inspired! I'm happy to see the spirit of the lights live on somewhere! :-) Thanks for sharing!
Never knew there were so many equates of a certain large-eared pachyderm's ride. Always a sucker for that spinning taffy machine. Such a nice place, yes, you must return. :)~
Glad to see you went to SDC. I grew in NW Arkansas and visited the park many times when I was a child through adulthood. Now get to periodically take my kids. Watching the all the artisans' work is fun and the theming is second to none.
What's the story Morning Glory! Wow! The lights are incredible! IMO, you can never have enough lights! My guess would be 25,000 dollars a day to run those lights! Those cobs can be pesky. The salt water taffy looked so good! that glass blowing tho! Wow! TY for sharing!
Very nice video of my old stomping grounds. I lived about 5 miles from here for about 15 years and have been in Silver Dollar City many many times. And it's definitely a special place during the Christmas season
Ive never seen much of Silver Dollar City but from what you show this place looks awesome!!! The flooded mine ride looks really cool. The lights look amazing and definitely seem like they are from the Osborne Lights, good to see a little piece of MGM live on.
I like this Vlog Adam, I would like to go there in the near future. And other great places you visited watching your Awesome Vlogs, Looking forward in your next American adventures. From here in Yorkshire UK.
AWESOME VIDEO AS ALWAYS ADAM! Def reminded me of the old school MGM lights :) I love seeing all these amazing theme parks from around the country! Thank you and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Hey adam I bet that you saw the shows at silver dollar city and if not then you missed out. The christmas carol show is awesome and has been playing there for 16 plus years now and the it's a wonderful life show is great too
Way cool Adam. Would have been nice to know u were around this area. A lot of us would love to have come met u and maybe hung out. Hope u enjoyed the largest holiday lights display in the country. 😉👍
@@TheDailyWoo The stop is an occasion for entertainment, but the reason for the stop is... The original locomotive, Henry Ford's locomotive made for entertaining his guest in his backyard, had limited steam capacity. As you leave the station you are traveling down a 3% grade and where the train stops is where it turns back to go up that same 3% grade. The train needed about 5 mins time build up steam to make the trip back to the station, so rather than just having a couple hundred people sit bored on a hot train, the Train Robbery skit was created and Theme Park History was made.
Thank you Adam for the trip through Silver Dollar City. I went there when i was a kid. A lot of things have changed since then, but nice to see some familiar things too.
The scary thing is I have rode the Ducks in Branson ever since I was little and to think something like this could have happened when I could have rode on them.
Lol..me too..with earphones in.. I freaked for a split second. The same happens with sirens in the distance or sounds like something is boiling over on the stove! 😂🙋

Living so close to Dollywood,I've always wanted to go to Silver Dollar City and compare them, including riding the flooded mine,I miss it from Dollywood.
That flooded prison ride, was that at one point in time at Dollywood and taken out for grizzly falls? I swear I rode a similar ride in Dollywood, never been to Silver Dollar City but I think the same company owns both parks.
I rode it in the 70's so it's been there a long time. They added the arcade gun shootout thing much later. Back then Fire In The Hole was the wildest ride they had.
