Yeah. I get how Roku and Sozin being friends and how Roku died was a big twist, but the fact that Zuko is a descendant of both these men and how it affects his story made it a much bigger twist.
From what i thought, avatar Roku was zuko's grandfather from his mother's side, and sozin was his grandfather from ozai's side, this explains why ozai hates iroh and zuko, instead preferring azula, whose nature is always loyal to the 'Sozin' family over the 'Roku' family (Zuko's mom and Iroh), since the roku family is considered traitors by the fire nation.
I thank Ice king being once a kind human named Simon who lost his sanity and body due to the crown's Ice and Snow powers. And the fact he would care and protect Marceline to even puting on the crown to use it's powers and protect Marceline which only made him more crazy and slowly took away his Sanity is one of biggest cartoon reveals.

I don't think Zuko is related to Roku. He's Sozen's grandchild of course but Sozen had a wife. Roku wasn't the other dad of his kids or anything, Avatar doesn't have that kind of magic.

Ok, how are you going to speak about the whole Roku and Sozin were friends, and not mention that Zuko's father's grandfather was sozin, but Zuko's MOTHER's grandfather was Avatar Roku. That possibly the BIGGEST reveal of the whole episode, and basically planting the seed of Zuko's destiny. That it shows, that he's just as connected with Avatar Roku as Aang is, or that line "you think friends can last through life times" another connection to make sense in the episode! Especially in season 3, where Zuko joins Aang and become friends! Avatar the last airbender, is hands down one of, if not the best cartoon to have aired on Nickelodeon. From it's deep story telling, the lore within the story, character development, and everything else! Something that Korra could've never reached!

Following your definition, I can think of two reveals for The Dragon Prince: 1. What happened to Sarai. During season 1 no one really knew what happened to the queen, only that she was dead. In season 2, we got an answer through a flashback episode, revealing Thunder killed her. 2. What was in the mirror. Viren had a goal of seeing what was in it, since it came directly from Thunder's lair. With Runaan commenting he feared it worse than death, and the credits image of a hand in the mirror, it raised a lot of questions. Season 2 revealed it is Aaravos in the mirror, but why he was put in there still remains unknown.

Everyone is so obsessed with Toffee because his character genuinely had a lot of potential. And I agree he was so different and was the true turning point in the show! I feel like the show itself didn't do much to give his character what he needed? It honestly felt unfinished and there was small species of evidence that hinted at something bigger, from the book of spells calling him "dark prince" to the past Toffee preparing to lead a teenage army. I also realize that the stereotypical "silent, brooding, suit and tie" villain is overused but what genuinely matters is the execution. Toffee's character had SO MUCH potential with how he viewed Mewmans, small glimpses of his past, and his plans but unfortunately... The writers just didn't do anything with it.
Toffee is probs one of the best and most ruthless villains in any Disney show, along with the talking dorito bill, but one thing that makes Toffee extra is the fact that the skulls he wears in his shoulders in the episode "moon the undaunted" are from members of the Butterfly royal family

You know, I always had a feeling since the St. Olga's episode from Season 1 that Miss Heinous was secretly part of the Butterfly family, due to her cheek symbols (Clubs) being a card symbol that fits right with the card symbols of Moon (Diamonds) and Star (Hearts). It was a bit of an odd detail, so I speculated that Heinous was secretly Star's evil aunt or something. I did not think, however, that Star and Moon were never true Butterflies to begin with, but at least I was right about Heinous, or rather Meteora, being a Butterfly herself.

I think Della's reveal was HUGE in Ducktales, and in Disney lore in general. Like we knew she existed, but we never saw her, and to see that she was alive and actually given a character to be explored was massive. Honestly surprised it didn't make it on the list especially over...Finn's hair.
I had absolutely no idea. I just thought they were simply magical beings. Curious to know what made you catch on so early. The show definitely got more in depth when it was revealed though.
Tbh even before the Lapis-episode I already just assumed they were aliens, but what surprised me was the whole 'gem monsters used to be gems' Madoka Magica-style reveal in the same episode. That was the first time I realized the lore of the show was gonna get darker, because things aren't as they seem.
This may sound sad but I’ll say it anyway: I never noticed until now, they changed the shape of Penny’s Shell from an oval thing, to a more peanut sorta shape

There were so many Gravity Fall reveals that made me freak out (SPOLIER ALERT) 1. Stan's "Tattoo" origin 2. Brother reveal/Author 3. Bill Cipher 4. McGucket's Origin and a bunch more. Loved the series, and I continually go back and watch some episodes again just to try and catch the easter eggs literally flooded in the cartoon.

Ok, how are you going to speak about the whole Roku and Sozin were friends, and not mention that Zuko's father's grandfather was sozin, but Zuko's MOTHER's grandfather was Avatar Roku. That possibly the BIGGEST reveal of the whole episode, and basically planting the seed of Zuko's destiny. That it shows, that he's just as connected with Avatar Roku as Aang is, or that line "you think friends can last through life times" another connection to make sense in the episode! Especially in season 3, where Zuko joins Aang and become friends!
Avatar the last airbender, is hands down one of, if not the best cartoon to have aired on Nickelodeon. From it's deep story telling, the lore within the story, character development, and everything else! Something that Korra could've never reached!

1. What happened to Sarai. During season 1 no one really knew what happened to the queen, only that she was dead. In season 2, we got an answer through a flashback episode, revealing Thunder killed her.
2. What was in the mirror. Viren had a goal of seeing what was in it, since it came directly from Thunder's lair. With Runaan commenting he feared it worse than death, and the credits image of a hand in the mirror, it raised a lot of questions. Season 2 revealed it is Aaravos in the mirror, but why he was put in there still remains unknown.

Everyone is so obsessed with Toffee because his character genuinely had a lot of potential. And I agree he was so different and was the true turning point in the show!
I feel like the show itself didn't do much to give his character what he needed? It honestly felt unfinished and there was small species of evidence that hinted at something bigger, from the book of spells calling him "dark prince" to the past Toffee preparing to lead a teenage army. I also realize that the stereotypical "silent, brooding, suit and tie" villain is overused but what genuinely matters is the execution. Toffee's character had SO MUCH potential with how he viewed Mewmans, small glimpses of his past, and his plans but unfortunately... The writers just didn't do anything with it.

Toffee is probs one of the best and most ruthless villains in any Disney show, along with the talking dorito bill, but one thing that makes Toffee extra is the fact that the skulls he wears in his shoulders in the episode "moon the undaunted" are from members of the Butterfly royal family

You know, I always had a feeling since the St. Olga's episode from Season 1 that Miss Heinous was secretly part of the Butterfly family, due to her cheek symbols (Clubs) being a card symbol that fits right with the card symbols of Moon (Diamonds) and Star (Hearts). It was a bit of an odd detail, so I speculated that Heinous was secretly Star's evil aunt or something.
I did not think, however, that Star and Moon were never true Butterflies to begin with, but at least I was right about Heinous, or rather Meteora, being a Butterfly herself.
