Really good interview!!! The quality of your video production has stepped up big time in these last interviews, like w Brandon Schaub & Earthquake. Keep em coming!!
We’ve been investing in the production side for sure so glad you can see. Thanks Hugo!
Great interview! I learned a lot on how up my comedy game.
One question, though. Just after the 47 minute mark, Earthquake was talking about how to follow a great set from the previous comic, and "if you know the technique, you can ride that wave of laughter he had, and it can take you through your whole set." What's the technique?
Advice for growth:
Do “Hot Breath Live” Podcast w/ Crowds in comedy clubs.
You open, they do short sets, than on stage interview.
This would sell tickets and grow your podcast
Great idea Chris! That is actually on our 2024 vision board! What scene are you in? Our first show could maybe be there!
@@HotBreathPod I’m in the NorCal scene for the most part
This was a great interview!! So many gems!
Thanks for watching LeRoy! 💯💯💯
Brilliant technique
I think I watched this already but I enjoyed watching it again
It gets better every time. Thanks for watching!
Phenomenal to get Earthquake on. This is just the beginning for you!
Beginning? He’s been at this for years
@@seamac206 it’s a common expression which indicates that this accomplishment will only be surpassed by more accomplishments.
It’s just the beginning for all of us! Thank you for all the support!
Wanted to tell you. You are going to be great. I havent listened to a podcast of yours in probably 5 years. (Yeah I. A comedy nerd)
But Ive recently dipped back in. You are filling a very unique niche. Keep working on way to make it more unique and pull more useful info out.
Would be sick if you could get Jimmy Carr to come talk shop
Thank you so much Alec. Welcome back to the Hot Breathiverse! Jimmy Carr would be awesome for sure. Have any connections?
I stopped watching half way and went and designed a storybook using ai for my new joke I have prepared for this Friday so that I don't skip a bit of the joke!
That Joke Scale concept is pure gold.

I love that he said “he doesn’t rehearse the lines he’s telling what he sees” and that’s interesting because I’ve notice when I’m in front of my friends I tell what I see and sometimes when I get on stage or try to tell the words which kiss all the emotions.
No doubt! Quake puts on a masterclass here for sure!
7:30
