The American Psycho "obsession" comes from Ice Nine Kills since horror movies kinda became their thing. They started out as a punk/ ska punk band but did not find a whole lot of success and struggled for a long time to break out. Their break through came when Spancer decided to combine his love/obsession with horror movies with their music. Their last 2 albums The Silver Scream I and The Silver Scream II cover all the great horror movies. Those 2 albums also have a big storyline, but you have to watch the music videos in order for it to make sense, but it's also fun to just start to watch a random INK video and try to guess what horror movie its based on. If I had to pick a favourite song from them it whould be "The nature of the beast" which is based on a book (Orwell - Animal Farm). Their live shows are also amazing, they put on a whole theatrical performance with costume changes and props for every single song they do, it's insane.
Please react to more Ice Nine Kills, they are absolutely amazing ❤. Their music videos are like literal movies. Also the girl that Spencer kills in this video is his real girlfriend ( i think they are engaged now ) and he kills her in almost every video , it's a running gag 😂 Also the reason they didn't change the song much is because they went back to their roots here, Ice Nine Kills was a ska punk band at first but later leaned more towards metal .
Love this video it's dark and funny at the same time. You should have started with ice nine kills- American psycho first. Ice nine kills bases the music off horror movies.
Reel big fish at least to me is most well known for their cover of take on me by ah-ha. They also appear in the comedy movie BASEKetball starring matt stone and trey parker. Ice Nine Kills i always enjoyed Rainy Day, an homage to resident evil.

@@sophiecooper1824 I see!! 😃
Hip To Be Scared would be a good Halloween followup, but also Ice Nine's cover of Just Cant Help Falling in Love by Elvis is great
Oh god, I'm scared to check out that Elvis cover. XD The idea sounds both amazing and horrifying.
Singing fact Ice Nine Kills started as a Ska Punk Band

Not my kind of video but I really enjoyed the "BOO". Super fun interjection, Shira😆

@@scott8658 there's a ska cover of Take on Me?!
They are so good!
Well reacted--thanks.
@@Chatwin78 thank you!
wow long winded
Both bands are good, but this cover was a fail. They never jelled and it's just not special.
