SUSPENSE was one of the best radio series ever made. I've enjoyed them since i first heard this on a Chicago radio station on a Saturday afternoon back in the 80s.
During the crisis, there’s nothing like great audio drama and comedy! You might be interested in this NEW comedy, “A Trip to the Moon” starring Joyce Randolph of The Honeymooners AND two ghost stories AND and a brand new mystery listed on my channel “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT. @@ItsBunnyBuns I'm still here. I hope to do another within the next 2 years. I have to write it first. Actors didn't want to go into production during COVID. COVID isn't over, but it's more possible now...there's not the same fear.
I’d believe that coz I’m the same. Well, not this particular series but some others in my native language (Turkish). Oh, I just do love radio dramas with lots of murder and suspense haha :D
Aren, well ol' George was willing to frame Smollet. Now he knows what it feels like to be accused of something you didn't do. The framer became the framed.

I'm too young to have heard these radio programs growing up, but I love listening to these while I work.
Same, I'm 31 so all of these shows were off the radio when I was growing up.
If you are enjoying these episodes, check out the podcasts! I got all this and more with new podcasts every month! otrpodcasts.com
I like following the development of this show up to and through the wartime years

Hello my good friends.
hi new buddy
So they rig up a scene to make it look like Smollett was involved in a crime? This sounds familiar...
That's the first time I've heard the name 'Captain Smollett' since the movie Treasure Island!
Hitchcock took a swing at this script using John Williams as captain smollet. Almost word for word.
I'm enlightened
Very well done good sir 😂
I feel like they end out of nowhere.
That score is unmistakably Bernard Herrmann
the original short story ends with Mr Princey calling the police, supposedly to turn Smollet in.
Why is there always a woman named Millicent in these stories?
It was a popular name back then! Like “Jennifer” or “Jessica” today.
They did george so dirty though. I hated the guy but damn.
Aren, well ol' George was willing to frame Smollet. Now he knows what it feels like to be accused of something you didn't do. The framer became the framed.

🇮🇳👍
So do i
Sooo..... the guilty party still got away with it??
Well, we sont really get to see that far into the story, do we? Millie might have confessed later.
It`ll come back to hunt you usually when you`ve forgotenn all about it.
Wow this was a TERRIBLE story!
This wouldn't be succesful in real life lol
That one sucked that's not suspenseful, that's just poor police work.
Ugh! Not wonderful at all. Ponderous, creaky, unlistenable.
