    I listened to this growing up. It started the year I was born. Yes...1942. I am that old. 82.

    Great listening... Especially during the dark evenings with a dim light, hot chocolate and a biscuit.. 💃

      I’d rather a cookie than a biscuit with hot chocolate, but that’s just me!

      @@TheIndependentLens But this episode's set in the UK and I think "biscuit" is what the Brits call a cookie (I could be wrong).

      As long as the hot cocoa didn't come from a Suspense episode😂😂. That arsenic flavored cocoa is quite bad for the health.

    1949. And the coal mine strike was the Australian's when they were forced to go back to work.

    • @raysraves474
      @raysraves474 4 года назад +1

      The PSA was not about Australia, it was about a Labor & Management dispute.

      @@raysraves474 It was not a PSA, it was propaganda to intimidate other workers to not follow suit. There was a big Coal Strike in America in 1946 that lasted 9 months.

    How is it an injunction against both the mine operators and the miners when the miners are ordered to go back work? Another judge bought by the rich. Just like today. What is the date of this episode as there was a big Coal Strike in America in 1946?
