    Husqvarna mirrors look better than stock.
    One question: Why did you switch from Dual sport helmet to a full face?

    • @RoadhawkVlogs
      @RoadhawkVlogs  Год назад

      Husqi mirrors work much better, stays more stable, prevents itself from breaking on falls (stays inside the handlebar width), provides better rear view, much sturdy and everything that unfortunately stock isnt 🥲
      Good question bro, in fact planning to make a video about it after the first hand experience. In a nutshell, unlike the rest of india, south Indian highways are much windy, specially the cross winds. While I truly and wholeheartedly love my bell mx9 (mainly coz of the comfort leatt goggles provide with open visor), it did generate a lot of neck fatigue and is very noisy (from the wind blast). Just to test, bought this highway helmet and gave it a run on this ride. Results are not surprising coz well hello this is a highway helmet on a highway ride 😅 but it does make a huge difference. Even when my entire body and bike felt the cross winds slapping from all sides, my head was straight and it was so much silent inside compared to Adv helmets. I won't lie though, it did feel claustrophobic a few times, adv helmets have spoilt me a little, but it was a worthy change. Very comfortable and very stable in windy conditions for the long long ride days. Video mein aayega more details ek dum khachakhach, bas stay tuned!
      Big ride also coming up 😉

      @@RoadhawkVlogs Awesome. Thank you very much for such a detailed review. Yes, a video would be great. Not many comparison videos on the YT. I am considering LS2 explorer 701, but will wait for your comparison and recommendations for Highway touring and mild off road. ❤️❤️❤️

      @ajaymore89 no probs at all. Devil is always in the details, perhaps I am that devil 😂 Video may take a while, coz I am off to ladakh again soon. So a little more devil below 🙏
      LS2 ones, whether the pioneer evo series or explorer or MX, are more like highway helmets with a peak. Basically a dual sport helmet or MX has 2 very important things, wider field of view without turning the neck and a wide open face (no claustrophobia). LS2 ones have neither in its proper sense to be honest. These feel very much like the closed highway helmets, not exactly but almost 90% like so. The chin part stays a little far the face like dual sport helmets which is helpful.
      If you extend your budget a bit, you can try out Scorpion Adv helmets. They are proper adv ones like Bell and unlike LS2 more highway oriented Advs.

      @@RoadhawkVlogs Awesome. This is very helpful bro. These details has cleared lot of my doubts.
      I will surely explore my options.
      Good luck for your Ladakh ride. ❤️

    Are the police checkpost frequent there (not the speed interceptor). Have heard about rules regarding gopro use on helmets. Planning to go there this weekend.

    • @RoadhawkVlogs
      @RoadhawkVlogs  10 месяцев назад +1

      Not very frequent bro but yes, u will find police in intervals the entire way. No one ever stopped me for the gopro, guess they only care that you ride sane (at least in front of them 😂). Usually they dont stop bikers but they may to check docs. At least they dont behave bogus bro, like snatching and breaking gopros. Just say sorry u were not aware and put it on the bike or something, only helmet is not allowed (as per them). Should be fine bro. Enjoy the ride, its a mesmerising one.

    I have heard horror stories of police stopping out of state vehicles and fining for everything including mobile holder, gopro on helmet, auxillary lights... Pls let me know if you have faced any such issues. This is why i have avoided going to kerala

    • @RoadhawkVlogs
      @RoadhawkVlogs  Год назад +2

      Hey, been to Kerala thrice and many of my friends too but never seen anyone in trouble due to motovlogging or accessories. We in fact crossed many police outposts and helmet checking, etc on the way but were never stopped. Even I have heard those stories but may be just a good cop bad cop situation. The trouble is speed interceptors because there are many everywhere and speed limit on most roads is 60kmph and they take it very seriously.
      May be put a pair of socks on the aux lights, that comes in handy to avoid police trouble and gopro u can remove if asked then put it back on once u cross the area 😅
