We had the same problem with the same lenovo Tab Model, we have replaced the charging USB port with no problems. worked fine for one day but now tablet charges only when closed and charges too slow. We have checked USB again for broken pins but seems everything is fine, but issue still remains. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you!!!
The board has a funny design. "Board-on-board" if you will. Even if there are pads on the other side the legs of the connector wouldn't reach through. Soldering them on the same surface is the only way.

That's a bad soldering from factory. Shouldn't that be a warranty issue?

Look like those connector board has a deferent revision.
0.41A is not enough, i suppose you had the same problem with not charging properly or slow charging issue.
