Mistake at 2:49, that's not Voice Of The Soul playing, that is Flesh & The Power It Holds (can't even get one of my favourite Death songs right lol) and at 0:36 that is Infernal Death.
His daddy was my 6th grade teacher. He came to our class on occasion to wait for his father. We used to talk, but he was real little then. And coincidentally a friend of mine lives in his parents old house in Altamonte Springs. Small world.
Chuck's death in my opinion is one of the saddest in world of metal/rock music. He never did hard drugs nor was he an alcoholic (all he had were occasional drinks). He took care of himself from exercising, which shows how toned his body was; he was never a troubled person, and he loved making music and being in-front of the fans that adore him and his band. He still looked very young when he was in his 30s. His death came from cancer, something he couldn't control. His death alongside Cliff Burton, Randy Rhoads, John Lennon, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the three members of Lynyrd Skynyrd are the most tragic to me because they loved doing what they do and made people smile or became inspirations.
It's so unfair how soon he was taken, genuine, down to earth guy, who loved doing what he did, but his legacy and influence will forever live on, we will never forget just how awesome and talented this man was
0:13 Mantas, reminds me of Sea World. I can't believe Chuck and me are from Florida. He died almost 4 years before I was born. The song gave me some nostalgia vibes for some reason alone with the photo.
Wish I could of seen them live! Death has been my favorite band since 2003 and chuck was and still is my idol when it comes to music and being a human being. He seemed like such an awesome dude! RIP chuck
Chuck was and is easy the best guitar player of his generation... No One comes even closer to him. Became an underground Legend for many, but on life should have got much more recognition. Thanks you Chuck for you 8 master pieces álbums!
It is the sequence that was taken from the Death video, I just think the previous version needed a small remake, but you can still find the original version on my old videos playlist.
This man was less than 1 year older than me the older i get the closer it is i feel this mans lyrics he understood something i am just now beginning to see
I remember back in the 90s in Miami, Fl when I was in high school when he was popular in the metal scene along with Obituary, Morbid Angel and Deicide. I believe the South Florida Metal community were raising funds to help pay for his medical bills.
Never listened to death,a lot of people say I'm missing out always listened to obituary, morbid angel, old cannibal corpse and six feet under almost bought scream bloody gore in the early 90s when I was about 13 and seen spiritual healing in a music store one time but was turned away by the cover.Maybe I'll download a few songs and give them a try.
With respect. Enjoy what music you like. I hope you do. And enjoy it lot. It doesn't really matter, after all. But at the same time. I have to say: I find that post a bit strange on a number of levels. Most of the things that you said, actually. Chuck/ Death were, to the other music that you listed, as Quorthon/ Bathory were to Black Metal. If not the absolute original, definitely the perfector, the most definitive and most wholly realised and the genre's number 1 artist. The most creative, innovative and accomplished, probably. It's not just academic, either. It sounds great because it is great. Made by one of the greats! You owe it to yourself to catch up. I would suggest Leprosy, first, followed by Human, followed by Symbolic. Then the rest in whatever order you like. I don't rate Morbid Angel, by the way. I rate Bolt Thrower (esp. Those Once Loyal), Carcass (esp. Necrotism...), early Entombed (esp. Left Hand Path), among others. And the last self-titled Obituary album is fantastic.
a year or two before he died, he was considered a God walking amongst mortals. His death was almost like a biblical event for metal musicians and fans.
Yeah!, Chuck Was Amazing And Brilliant Musician. Now This Year Death Become My 2nd Favourite Death Metal Band. I Ranked My Favourite Death Albums, From Worst To Best: - Leprosy (1988) 🏆🥇 - Scream Bloody Gore (1987) 🥈 - The Sound Of Perseverance (1998) 🥉 - Symbolic (1995) - Spiritual Healing (1990) - Individual Thought Patterns (1993) - Human (1991)

Phil Lynotts was sad too as he tried to get off but his body was already destroyed, Chuck hadn’t done anything to cause his passing
Death got better with age. Their last two albums were their best
First and last
Spiritual Healing is my favorite.
leprosy and spiritual healing for me
Symbolic was their worst but ok.
@@Top10Dylan lmao their worst was screaming bloody gore. Symbolic had amazing lyrics, riffs, drum work, and many great bass lines.
Forever the king Schuldiner, rest in peace and his legacy forever!!
