For the discerning private boat guy who absolutely MUST catch a SoCal "El Nino" Wahoo while trolling at close to 20 knots! (Or any Wahoo guy or gal for that matter!!) Nice work on that lure, Mmmmmm!!!
Should do, but it's pretty political, pretty narrow audience, and I don't want to step on too many toes...more than I have. I think our website covers the situation pretty well. Original inventor/innovator/machinist got ripped off (that's my opinion). What we're offering isn't new, it's the original product, original manufacturer, his design and manufacture. The other jig on the market is a knock-off product, copied, made by another lower cost machine shop with no investment into it's creation. That's my opinion, the fellow behind the other jig being sold may have a different take, but noting trade name, when product went into service, etc...it's darn clear what occurred.
I trolled mine one time got a hit but lost the Wahooo. I am about to use it again. I noticed I have a little bit of water damage. Tiny bit of water is coming out. Is it still good to troll?
Well, I opened it up with a hammer. I had a lot of water in it from over a year ago and the magnetic bottom rusted out on one fish. It’s all good next time I won’t keep the hook in the magnet which I did on accident didn’t realize it.
@@fishonj2319 Me too, that's why I mention not keeping the hooks in the receiver. On the new SALTA versions, the magnet assembly can be easily replaced, less of an issue. But, still when in storage I'll not keep hook within the receiver. The new finishes from SALTA look great!
Good way to put it, they are robust. I was really impressed by how well they tracked, straight and true, easy to stack rigs on the stern when they stay where they're supposed to be! Nicely weighted, like keeping the stinger hook where it will do the most good - in the belly not swinging all over the place. I think there will be less false strikes given the way they designed the lure. Not cheap, almost $90, but figure a DTX minnow might be one-and-done at $35..., well they aren't too bad at all and they will hold up given production materials used.
Nice Video Mark and thanks for the shout out I am glad you liked our new Mag Trak lure I’ll see ya soon buddy.

Should be just fine, they can take some hits and keep on ticking.
