Been watching you guys for a minute now! Nice to see you guys in Mexico again but in Oaxaca! I’ll also be there in a few days but will be also exploring the Sierra Sur and the coast! Hope to see you guys do a video especially in the coast!
@@TheYarbrosChiapas (Ajijic) has become really expensive with real estate due to the huge expat retiree community, I look forward to seeing your take on it. ❤
Just came back from Oaxaca a month ago. I love the Tlacolula market so much, I’m already wanting to go back. My friend & I rented a car for a week and were able to get around quite easily but google maps can be pretty questionable so beware. This market is also quite close to Mitla so we went there as well, what a great day. Thanks for your content and for both of your beautiful spirits ❤.
Thank you!!! We are loving this state. We're heading out to Mitla next week. We've been navigating via colectivo and that's been fine. Glad you enjoyed your time here!
@@TheYarbros If you need things for your home, I custom ordered a pair of woven curtains to my exact color and dimension specs, took under 2 weeks from order to pick-up and inexpensive in Teotitllàn del Valle (not far from Oaxaca). Also, if you are looking for a good date night spot and the best duck you will ever eat, please go to “Origen” and order the the duck dish with beetroot butter and cherries, the best!!! I had to have it 3 times. Also order the ceviche in leche di tigre and the green pozole with shrimp….you will not be disappointed…the other items were nowhere near as delicious, as we pretty much ate the entire menu. Have a great time!!!
Thanks so much for this! Wow...every video you do about that area makes me so glad we are going there for a long stay next month! Thanks. Looks like it's just perfect for us...we want to be in the non-gringo places too! (Although we are loving Patzcuaro...it's a wonderful place we may come back to rent a casita in the future...)
How perfect. ❤ Love this - I would be in heaven. You both look so relaxed and happy! Even your skin and hair look dewy. Is it hot there? You look to be very comfortable. I would pass on the grasshoppers too, but the Cacao drink looks good. I’m studying Spanish too & counting the days to retirement… then, Mexico-bound! 390 to go… 😊
😅😅😅 You really have a countdown! We are at peace here. The country life in Oaxaca us very different. It's very communal and they are very inclusive, friendly and curious. Love it! It is mountain weather here so it gets a little hot during the height of the day 85° f maybe buy the mountains breezes come through around 5pm and the city is a cool 65° by 8 pm. It's comfortable for us. We have no AC and we are fine.
OMG!!! My city, if you are near El tule, you should visit the market, they have amazing food and their Aguas frescas con nieve are AMAZING!! they are a must have here in oaxaca!. Hope to see you again in another adventure in my amazing state ❤. Ps: if you want suggestions let me know 😊
Yeah, ❤Awesome, Oaxaca's markets are amazing, with so many indigenous vendors coming to sell their farming goodies or crafts. ❤️👍 also, Abastos market in Oaxaca city is also awesome. I shopped at 4 markets regularly.
Planning to go in a month and you are inspiring me to get to that level of Spanish, seems like you had such fun. What time would you say is the best time to go, how early in the morning? And how many hours until you think you've experienced the whole place?
We got there at 8:30 and that was great. By around 3pm we had seen our fill. At 4 pm we sat down ate and we were on our bus home not long after.... but we were filming along the way though.... I think 3-4 hrs is plenty of time to experience the market.
Made with love! I'd totally try it! Not sure about the crickets... And here in Patzcuaro they have the little dried minnows that they fry in lard and serve with salsas... A bit much even though we think of ourselves as pretty adventurous with food...
What area would you recommend a solo female traveler stay in? I was in Querétaro and a restaurant owner told me I had to visit and eat the food there. I am vegetarian btw.
I’d recommend in and around Centro if your visiting. Jalatlaco and Xochimilco neighborhoods are pretty walkable neighborhoods great to stay in. This Fb grp is good for food recs m.facebook.com/groups/1675167752618384/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF
Of course there’s more majestic places out there but I’m 27 countries I visited Mexico always is the spot! it takes a couple days or a week to get familiar with the orchestra but once you learn the song it’s a beautiful dance!

You should go to Jalisco, Mexico. The food is so delicious. I go every 5 years to Jalisco, Mexico.
We lived there for a year and loved the food!
Love this - I’m so hungry 😂 The local vibe is 🔥. On my list of places to see!

I am impressed on how this reminds me of Brazil. Mexico is on my bucked list
We're missing Brasil! Thanks for watching!
The best thing about a place is the people who live there.Besides the food,of course hahaha.
We completely agree!
Bienvenidos a Mexico😊
Wait, did Rondel just tell the dog to get off the husky 😂😂😂😂😂. I don’t know why that had me in stitches. Happy belated birthday 🎉.

We are definitely visiting El Tule soon! We’re open to suggestions!
I will be there in less than 2 weeks for the festival in my dad's town in Valdeflores, Zimatlan, Oaxaca to celebrate the towns saint
I love that the towns have their own festivals. Our current pueblo just celebrated taxistas with a small band and a taxi procession.
