I feel like with the amount of money these skins cost, making the dopplers worse now when cs2 is no longer a playtest is just silly and borderline market manipulation. I just got a p3 bayo gamma doppler to go with my green gloves. Now its blue and looks awful in dim lighting and i cant get rid of it because of steams new 10 day invisibility policy. So i just have to sit here watch the value plummet just so they can make them look worse. Why?? Austincs go look at your knife in dim lighting like lower tunnels dust 2 and see how it looks. Awful doppler chang they looked perfect before this.

Or you could not be bad and not buy high, sell low. The change is bad and everyone hates it, so it’ll probs get reversed. It’s gonna mess up the market a lot and valve won’t like that

@@larry5289 if I bought high and sold low it would be on me. Instead I traded for a stable price item which is now gonna go low because the item was changed and given a completely new look. I don't mind losing a little on skins because I use them. But stuff like this you can't predict or prepare for imagine they randomly changed a karambit ice and fire and made it red and green. Its no longer even the same skin it just has the same name and the value is fucked nothing you as the owner can do or prepare for. Dopplers imo were looking the best they have so far before this change now the majority look bad in dim lighting

This is what Dopplers are supposed to look like though. They were to op before, why buy a gem, when the WAY more common Doppler looks comparable? It’s not valves fault retards were paying double for BLACK PEARLS 😂

@@fiinenight I agree that some phases look too similar to a gem but dopplers look better because it's a new game to fix the similarities with gems all they need to do is make a second colour pop more on phase 2's and it's problem solved if they looked like this from the start I wouldn't have an issue but they kept them the same from playtest to full release so people bought them based on their look in cs2 making them worse after the fact is a mistake and even valve know it hence them undoing this change the very next day
