There's something about the mid-to-late-80s Cavaliers colorguard that I find particularly appealing.
Powerhouse color guard right there. Won WGI three years in a row for a reason 💚
They had very unique rifle work and spinners. Everyone knew that their rifles were the best in the history of DCI throughout that time period. I knew people that worked night and day to make the rifle line. Two made it and the rest were either flags or not accepted. You have to keep up the talent level if you’re going to have that difficult of a book. They alone should into the DCI Hall of Fame for changing the way people thought of rifle work in a Corps.
In the 80's I had a cassette of the finals with their show.
It is nice to see corps play this piece
