Goliath’s drop always gets me in the gut. Such an amazing ride. This is also the only ride that has come close to making me greyout.
I'm surprised that Magnum didn't make this list somewhere. Although old and rough around the edges, it has an out-of-control aspect to it that is hard to duplicate, and mad ejector airtime.

That’s a great start!
All of the coasters I’ve ridden are from the Midwest, and my top 10 goes:
1. Steel Vengeance
2. Hades 360
3. Renegade
4. Orion
5. Millennium Force
6. Maverick
7. Zeus
8. Diamondback
9. Banshee
10. Mystic Timbers
And unfortunately, the mighty Excalibur just barely misses the top 10, as I have it ranked 12 :(
My list is very close to yours, although I have yet to ride Steel Vengeance and Maverick as I haven't been to CP since 2005. Love Kings Island and Mystic Timbers, Banshee, Diamondback and Orion!

Once you get 16 back to back night rides on Prowler (like I have), I bet it would go from number 16 to top 10 or 5.
Lot's of great coasters in the midwest. I remember being surprised by how good Mr. Freeze was.
My Top 15 is as follows:

5. Magnum XL-200 (Surprised this didn't make your list- Great airtime!)

15. Cornball Express
I still have to get on Shivering Timbers, Hades 360, Renegade, Monster, Prowler and Zippin Pippin. I would expect Shivering Timbers and Hades 360 to be most likely to crack the Top 10. Renegade I guess would be slightly ahead of Mystic as GoldStriker is my top GCI. The last 3 may or may not crack the Top 15. I also have not done trimless Voyage, and when I rode it in 2018 I didn't feel the best that day.

As someone who lives literally 5 mins away from Michigan adventure… it gets very boring cuz there really isn’t much (i also go like every week😂)
i prefer airtime over laterals too! laterals are fun and all but airtime is way more thrilling!! you can get laterals on your basic fairground thrill ride...airtime seems more special!
Why didnt you want to come to Minnesota!?
I’ve only been on four, all of which are at SFGA. Here’s how I rank them and why: 4, joker (s&s freespin 2017) I made the mistake of not putting the restraint down as far as possible, so it was a painful ride. 3. American Eagle (intamin woodie 1981) this old intamin needs titan track. The helix feels like a trampoline, rough as hell. 2. Dark knight (Mack wild mouse? 2015?) it’s better than American Eagle and has good theming. 1. Viper (CCI/Six Flags woodie 1996) has good air time, does have a rumble which added on to the experience
Have you been to Bay Beach to ride Zippin’ Pippin? I would think as a fan of wooden coaster it would have cracked your top 25.
I definitely agree with you on Raging Bull. It's an awesome, very top-heavy ride where there's a few amazing elements, but not a whole ton else

I feel like the lack of Cornball Express was an oversight.
Otherwise this seems like a pretty solid list and my experiences overlap heavily with what you're listing here - only the Missouri and Iowa parks are out of my grasp.
Seemingly everyone finally got a piece of Shivering Timbers this year and it's really encouraged me to get back over there next year. I haven't been on it since 2012 and it's slipped a (probably) unjust distance down my rankings.
I’ve luckily been to almost all of these parks the only very popular park I haven’t been to is kings island I’ve been to holiday world but havnt been in a while so I’ve only done raven unfortunately havnt been to mr Olympus been to dells tho I’ve been to six flags St. Louis go like once a year great americas my home park cedar point I just went for the first time recently best place ever silver dollar city I went last year amazing park my least favorite park in Midwest is six flags St. Louis but I still love it

Yeah just hate on the Mamba. Honestly with no mid course trim brakes it's perfect now. is it my top one? Of course not but definitely my top 10 hypers. I'm like the polar opposite to this guy because the only Woody's that make my list are RMC or Woody's that had the RMC treatment.

It's totally fine if someone truly doesn't think Steel Vengeance is the best. Everyone has different opinions. But there are a lot of individuals who seem to think it makes them edgy and cool to consistently have controversial opinions. Especially when it's comes to Steel Vengeance.

People have a Love/Hate relationship with Magnum, I remember riding it before it's lapbars were padded
And I agree the milliniem force theme song is awesome I listen to it once a week

I personally think voyage is the best Midwest coaster

I live in the Midwest and am a religious coaster fanatic I attend my worship at Michigan’s adventure regularly and make the trip to the coaster coast Mecca (Cedar Point) at least once a summer…this list is dead on
No no not x-flight I was thinking mamba
Millenium Force USED to be an elite coaster. It simply isn't after they slowed the cable lift though. It was revolutionary at the time it was built but it just simply does not hold up to the gigas built since 2010.
On Steel Vengence I've always said "RMC Mean Streak was never going to NOT be overrated" since I rode my first RMC (Goliath-2016). I definately prefer an RMC like Storm Chaser that's at least as aggressive but so much more marathonable because of the lines. And I prefer Voyage to all the RMCs I've ridden. That said I do think the "popular to hate on something popular" train has gone too far with Steel Vengence. Of the states you highlighted I'd still place it at #2 and easily top 25 in the world.

I'm curious where magnum fits for you... Honestly, I think it's just a little overrated, even with its magic seat. Though, I do have it as my top 5... granted I've only ever been to CP, Adventureland, and WOF... where I sadly skipped Prowler... *facepalm* such a mistake... It was even a really hot day. I got great floater on Mamba, if that gives you a little hint to how hot it was...

I’ve only ever been to sfgam so the red coaster wink wink x-flight I do know the other one you were talking about but x-flight is my #4 spot behind maxx force
