Bit late but great review :D went for my "2nd" first solo flight today went solo in Australia as a student 7 years ago then took a break I've started training again in NZ. Looking forward to the EK review!

@@NowGetThere hopefully mid to end next year difficult to balance it with 60-70 hour work weeks on the road but if you do visit nz I'll be more happy to show you tauranga and the sights from the air

Ah I was a very regular on this couple of flights when I lived in SG. I wonder if this route is still using the AOC of Valuair? It felt great to be back in Changi a few weeks back. Its also my fave airport in the world. Its just such an easy airport to navigate. Makes you wonder why can't Aussie airports be like that eh? Haha.. far out, the menu prices on 3K are Aussie prices! Suppose the best prices are on Air Asia.
Yeah Jetstar Asia got cheap airfares but charge a heap for all the extras! Probably first time in long time I didn't buy any food onboard

On this flight from Singapore to Jakarta they did not check the size or the weight of my bag but I only had a small backpack. I am sure if you try to take a large suite case then they will weigh it and charge you more

How was your experience with JetStar? Never took this flight before. I planned to go buy this flight, but Covid-19 made me had to cancel all the plan.
I am a big fan of Jetstar, I fly them often in Australia and flown them out of Singapore to Jakarta 2 times and to Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
It is a budget airline so no frills. No free food.

when entering the check-in machine to get a boarding pass, did the airport check-in staff ask you to show the PCR test results? or is there no need for a PCR test before leaving? thank you very much in advance sir🙏
