Good to see a more reasonable review. Too many reviewers over praise their flights. I’m disappointed by the lack of advice for example flying economy from Australia to Europe and back, I haven’t been able to find any good information on which is the best quality flight vs price.
There are quite a few reviewers that do comparison economy class reviews- many specifically putting the Middle East 3 head to head. Nonstop Dan comes to mind- also Simply Aviation does mostly economy flights. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
where to in Europe do you fly? you can also fly to Europe with Finnair, as they have a heavy focus on Asia. So you can fly out of Australia to Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Beijing, and fly onwards to Europe. Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine and subsequent closure of Russian Airspace, Finnish used to boast as having the shortest flights between Asia & Europe (Helsinki) with I think flights between Singapore and/ or Bangkok, heading for Helsinki being as short as 9.5 hrs...
If you want comfort on the long haul part and good food all the way at minimum cost you could think about flying Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur then Turkish to Europe. In booking your Air Asia flights prepay baggage and select and prepay your meal. Then it's almost like full service but cheaper.
(7:06) Thanks for pointing that out! On my last Jetstar Asia flight around 8 years ago, I got around that by eating at a restaurant in the airport transit area before boarding, allowing me to just get a small snack during the flight. (Jewel Changi Airport was still under construction at the time)
Great review. Was in Changi a few times earlier in the year and can see significantly more passengers in your video now. Hoping to learn more from your editing skills for my travel channel. Keep it up.
Alright to make things even clearer for all the confusions let’s look at SQ, Scoot and Jetstar Asia their aircraft registration begins with ‘9V’ therefore Jetstar Asia is a Singapore owned but by a private entity whereas for Jetstar Australia it’s registration begins with ‘VH’ similar to Qantas and Virgin Australia and any other Australian carriers . As for Jetstar Japan it’s registration is ‘JA’ similar to JAL or ANA or any other Japan carriers. Hope this clarifies all the confusions about Jetstar Asia not being Singapore owned.
I didn’t even think about it from that angle haha. I just think it’s funny that all of the same people that hate the airline also want to claim ownership of all of it 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Did I hear you say Jetstar in Australia was "loathed?" No it's not. I think it's generally regarded as a safe, reliable low cost carrier both on its domestic and international routes. My few flights on Jetstar domestically and from Perth to Indonesia have been good. Unlike Scoot's unhelpful cabin crew, Jetstar crew seem to like their job and want to make the economy class journey as pleasant as possible. Add to that the parent company's jealously guarded reputation for safety and you have a good sound airline. One incident: Returning via Singapore from a visit to Jakarta I suffered back pain heading out to the baggage claim area in Singapore. I sat down for a moment on a little foldable stool I was carrying. One of the Singaporean cabin crew from my flight saw me and insisted on carrying my carry-on baggage to the baggage claim for me. She was already off duty and heading home so it was just from the goodness of her heart.

Yeah I know what you mean- I feel like the equivalents would be Spirit/Allegiant in the US and Jet2/Wizz/Ryanair (and like 30 more haha) in Europe. Thanks for watching 🙏
So Virgin Australia flies from Singapore to Bali Denpasar ?
@@paulsz6194 : Yup VA65
@@brilliantbutblue ok, thanks. Didn’t know Australia had a Fifth Freedom flight from Singapore..
@@paulsz6194 : OOPS no l meant from Australia to Denpasar my apologies sorry didn't have my glasses on when l read your comment 🙏
jetstar still flys new zealand to australia
They sure do! I was speaking about the subsidiary Jetstar had plans for in NZ. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Jetstar still operates domestically in NZ :) it was just the regional arm that shut down.
Jetstar makes me feel like s bottom feeder when used it. Prefer to pay more.
Go for it! SQ just isn’t worth $400 to me for such a short flight. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
All budget airlines by definition are crap. Scoot is the worst
If by “crap” you mean an affordable alternative to full service airlines- then by all means, I agree.
Jetstar was by far the worst experience i ever had… DELAYED LUGGAGE i claimed it about 17 days after I arrived in New Zealand…
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Please get the background facts correct first. It seems you are trying to give Singapore a bad name..
I’ve added captions in 46 languages in case the English narration wasn’t clear to you as I did nothing even close to give Singapore a bad name. And, my facts were correct. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Scoot air stewardesses are RUDE
Clowns are TERRIFYING
I'm ok with that...budget fight , no high expectation. They air crews are indeed "down to earth", I will still choose Scoot for my next flight.
Schedule changes to prebooked tickets weekly, super, frickn, annoying. Especially when it includes a stop over night / 12 hours at some throw in airport . A 14 hour flight goes to 26 hours … 😡… NEVER again.
Do not fly with these pirates .
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Jet Star ? Not probably : certainly the worst !
Well, there are only three in total lol
Nice clickbait thumbnail.
Clickbait would suggest that it wasn’t true 😊 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I disagree scoot is way worse than Jetstar asia
Thanks for watching 🩴
Jetstar is belong to Australia airline
Correct, Jetstar is Australian. However, Jetstar Asia (which this video is about) is a separate Singapore based carrier. More info in the pinned comment. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
As an Australian I am embarrassed by this airline. Used twice and they were evil.
Those pesky evil airlines! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
JetStar is the worst airline in Australia always very unreliable !!!
That’s the spirit! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@@tfft haha being an Australian no spirit for them.
Jetstar is not owned by Singapore. Get your facts right before you post anything.
I didn’t say it was owned by (the country of) Singapore. I said Jetstar Asia (not the same company as AUS registered Jetstar) is a Singapore registered company/airline which Qantas owns a non-controlling 49% share of. Feel free to google it, I’ve got time to wait.
Perhaps next time you can get your comments straight or at least, lose the attitude. Hope you have a blessed day ❤️
